Archie Harrison’s Birth Might Have Convinced Kate Middleton and Prince William to Have Another Baby
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are still over the moon about the newest member of their family. Meghan gave birth to a healthy baby boy on Monday, May 6, and since then, the little royal family has been all anyone can talk about. Prince William and Kate Middleton have three kids of their own, but there have been rumors they may decide to have a fourth. Has meeting baby Archie convinced them to have one more?
Kate and Will said they were thrilled to be aunt and uncle again
When the press asked Will and Kate about their thoughts on Meghan and Harry’s little one, they both were beaming for the new parents. “I’m very pleased and glad to welcome my own brother to the sleep deprivation society that is parenting,” Will joked. “It’s really exciting for both of them, and I wish them the best,” Kate added. Will and Kate are aunt and Uncle to Pippa Middleton’s son, Arthur. Will’s cousins also have children whom he and Kate are close with. But it’s the first time his brother is a father, and the couple seemed plenty excited for the new parents.
There have been rumors the Cambridges may decide to have a fourth child
People were once surprised to learn that Will and Kate were expecting a third, however a year later, there are now rumors that the couple may want a fourth. Sources close to the family have said it’s been on their minds for a while, but the two haven’t yet decided whether they want to have another baby. The couple welcomed their third child, Prince Louis, in April 2018. The couple has had a whirlwind of a year so far, with Prince William getting caught up in a cheating scandal (none of the rumors were ever proven). Despite the drama, the couple hasn’t seemed to let anything affect their marriage or their desire for more kids.
Royal experts speculate the new baby may have made Will and Kate consider a fourth even more
If Will and Kate were already considering having a fourth, watching Harry and Meghan celebrate a new baby might convince them to go for that fourth child. Although Kate does have horrible morning sickness, clearly the love for welcoming a new baby outshines it, considering the couple has already had three. Royal experts think the odds are 7/2 that Kate will announce a fourth pregnancy. Sources close to the duchess say she’s ready for another child, despite her morning sickness. “She loves children and is prepared to put herself through another pregnancy,” the source said.
Kate is getting a bit older, so the couple would likely announce a pregnancy soon
Although Kate is still in her 30s, there is the possibility her fertility has declined a bit since having Prince Louis. If she and Will want to have another child and want the best chance at getting pregnant, they will likely try for a baby sooner rather than later. The duchess turned 37 in January. For now, the world is celebrating Harry and Meghan’s little one, and it wouldn’t surprise anyone if those two announced another pregnancy in the next year, either.
