Are Lala Kent and Randall Emmett from ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Still Getting Married After It Appears They Split?
An explosive social media fight with rapper 50 Cent appeared to have damaged Lala Kent and Randall Emmett’s relationship. Evidence gleaned from the Vanderpump Rules couple’s Instagrams made it look like the couple called it quits after a weekend of taunts and jabs from 50 Cent and fans.
The fight stemmed from an old debt Emmett owed to 50 Cent. 50 Cent launched a campaign starting Friday, featuring a video clip from the show. Kent is filmed telling Stassi Schroeder how she met Emmett, and needless to say it didn’t paint in her in the best light.
But 50 Cent’s social media attacks didn’t stop there. He continued to attack the couple on social media about a $1 million debt Emmett owed to him and ignored–until now.
Kent seemed defiant, but Emmett…not so much
Kent immediately fired back at the video 50 Cent posted. First, by commenting on the video, 50 Cent posted to Instagram. “Wow fifty. I’m disgusted. We’ve sat up at dinners solo with you, you showing mad love, while begging Rand to put one of your new talentless bitches in a film, and this is how you come for me? On the gram?”
But then she created a video of her own lashing out at 50 Cent. But eventually, the soliloquy devolved into a stand for the #metoomovment.
Emmett, on the other hand, seemed terrified. 50 Cent shared text messages on Instagram showing a conversation where Emmett apologizes a number of times. He seems shaken and scared. At one point the producer believes he may be having a heart attack and heads to the hospital. 50 Cent displayed an image of Emmett hooked up to monitors for a stress test and the text exchange. Which he’s now deleted from his Instagram.
Kent goes dark
Emmett managed to meet 50 Cent’s deadline of repaying the $1 million debt by Monday. And while all’s well that end’s well according to 50 Cent, the couple’s relationship appeared to be damaged.
Social media followers first noticed the couple no longer followed each other on Instagram. Also, all of the photographic evidence of the couple being together vanished too. The most noteworthy image was the one where the couple announced they were engaged. Additionally, Kent’s Instagram profile picture was replaced by a black screen.
Kent and Emmett no longer referred to each other on social media. Which was strange because the couple often posted amorous photos and video with each other an on a regular basis.
While fans scratched their heads in wonderment, the Vanderpump Rules crew started loading videos of Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney’s stunning home to their Instagram stories. Included in many of the videos were a very cozy Emmett and Kent. They were cuddling and kissing as everyone explored the expansive new pad.
Next, Kent, Stassi Schroeder, Katie Maloney an Brittany Cartwright added videos of the girls preparing to head off to Paris, France. Emmett hosts them in a private suite before takeoff. Kent an Emmett, again look very close.
Before takeoff, Kent an Emmett makes a stunning announcement. “So anyone who wants me to do anything on April 18th, I officially can’t,” Kent grins. “Because that’s the day I’m gonna marry, my baby!” The camera pans over to Emmett as he raises his arms in victory. So, as of now, the wedding is set for April 2020.
