Are Olivia Jade and Her Parents Still On Good Terms Amid The College Admission Scandal?
Olivia Jade and her well-respected Hollywood family have gone through a lot these past few weeks.
Since news broke out of her parents’, Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli, involvement in the alleged college admission’s scandal, tensions within the family have been running high.
Though it was revealed her parents did what they did to provide a better future for her, it could be a while before Olivia Jade forgives them.
She’s furious with her parents
It’s been weeks since the college admission scandal broke headlines, and Olivia Jade is still not on the best page with her parents.
According to sources, the beauty guru “is furious with her parents,” and is extremely hurt that Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli ruined her career.
“[Olivia] was passionate about her career, and now everything she built has imploded before her eyes,” a source told Us Weekly. The source added: “[Olivia] is not talking to her parents right now. [She] feels she is the victim. Olivia blames her mom and dad for this scandal and for the downfall of her career.”
Earlier into the scandal, Olivia Jade and her family stood by each others’ sides to try and cope with the entire legal situation.
It was revealed Olivia Jade and her sister, Isabella Rose, initially supported their parents.
Now that the entire family has faced public scrutiny and humiliation, Olivia Jade has found it best to spend time from her mom and dad.
Olivia Jade recently moved out of the family home
Just two weeks after Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli pleaded not guilty to the charges against them, it was revealed that Olivia Jade had moved out of the family’s Bel-Air home.
According to sources, the couple’s youngest daughter has been staying with her boyfriend for the past few months and recently made the decision to move the rest of her belongings out of their home.
“Olivia’s clothes and some personal items were moved out from her parents Bel Air house this week,” a source shared with E! News. “She wants more privacy.”
Though the admissions scandal played a huge part in Olivia’s Jade’s decision to move out, her mental health was the main reason.
“Everything that’s going on with her parents is very stressful for her and she needs some space. She’s doesn’t feel that it’s healthy for her to live with her parents right now,” the source explains.
Now that she is facing a life-long ban from the University of Southern California, Olivia Jade is just focused on rebuilding her brand and not getting involved in her parents’ drama.
“She wants to focus on rebuilding her business and not deal with daily negative attention,” an insider says. “This is the healthiest thing for her right now and she wants to do what’s best.”
Is the family on good terms?
As for Olivia Jade remaining on good terms with her parents, it has been reported that the 19-year-old is “not speaking to her parents” at the moment.
The beauty guru is furious with them and is extremely embarrassed by all that has happened.
Olivia is reportedly in “crisis mode,” and needs time away from Lori and Mossimo in order to handle the stress she’s under.
Lori Loughlin knows how much her daughters are suffering over this scandal and has vowed to fix her family.
A source revealed, “she plans to fight this and for her girls. She can’t imagine what will happen to them if she goes to jail.”
