Are ‘Southern Charm’ stars Madison LeCroy and Shep Rose Actually Similar?

Southern Charm stars Madison LeCroy and Shep Rose are constantly at one another’s throats. The two are very clearly not friends — Shep Rose seems to have issues with LeCroy and her relationship with his friend, Austen Kroll. Rose infamously called LeCroy white trash, an insult that took his castmates and fans by surprise.

LeCroy wasn’t going to be outdone, however — she decided to spread a rumor that Rose gave a fellow Southern Charm cast member chlamydia. Now, with Season 6 wrapped, LeCroy is saying that perhaps she and Rose are more similar than he’d like to admit.

Rose called LeCroy white trash

Season 6 of Southern Charm saw a lot of drama and insults flying between Shep Rose and Madison LeCroy. Rose seems to have started most of it, however, by calling LeCroy white trash. The insult followed LeCroy allegedly getting flirty over Instagram with Danni Baird’s boyfriend.

“I’m not going to get into name calling anymore. Honestly, I’m above all this. I’m honestly above all this,” said Rose during a Southern Charm After Show episode.

Craig Conover followed up with, “He hates her because, two things… how she treated our friend and second of all, it started to affect our life.”

“There’s two things… there’s country and there’s rednecks. And f*** rednecks, you know what I mean? I love country people. Love them,” said Rose.

Cameran Eubanks, however, thinks Rose could learn to manage his anger better. “He’s made me cry before. And a couple of hours later, he’ll call me, and say, ‘Oh my god, I’m so sorry. I shouldn’t have said that.’ He gets this deep anger within him and it just… He hasn’t learned how to control it. He could do well with anger management,” explained Eubanks.

LeCroy hits back with STD rumor

Unfortunately, Madison LeCroy isn’t interested in letting things slide. The Southern Charm star got into another fight with Rose during a trip to Colorado, where Rose picked a fight over her possible re-unification with Austen Kroll.

During the fight, LeCroy said to Rose, “You don’t f****** scare me. You’re a bully … You want to know facts? I heard you gave her chlamydia. That’s what I heard,” said LeCroy of Danni Baird, seated nearby. “That’s a fact … Ask Austen.”

Both Rose and Baird denied the allegations, and LeCroy tried to walk it off as if bringing it up wasn’t a big deal. Rose wasn’t having it.

“It’s not fine. I don’t understand you. What’s the anger come from? … And Austen told you? So now you’ve thrown him under the bus. You’re a tornado. You just hurt three people, or tried to. Was it worth it?” asked Rose.

Are they similar?

However much these two might fight, it does sometimes seem as if the Southern Charm enemies are more similar than they’d like to admit. At least, that’s what Madison LeCroy thinks.

During a recent Southern Charm After Show, LeCroy said of Rose, “I think Shep has a problem with me because he can’t figure it out, I think. He doesn’t know what I’m thinking — I think he’s pretty good about reading people.”

“I can see some similar things. I really don’t think it’s him liking me,” said LeCroy. “I think that Shep and I — he’s not gonna ever admit that but — I think that we are similar as far as, you know, ‘do no harm but take no s***’ personality.”

Both of these two love to say they never want to hurt anyone — but it often seems as if they’re the ones blowing up in their castmate’s faces.
