Is Ariana Grande Debuting Her Own Starbucks Drink?
Like many of us, Ariana Grande is a fan of Starbucks. On more than one occasion we’ve spotted the pint-sized songstress with a Starbucks drink in hand. In fact, during a spoof with James Corden on Carpool Karaoke, Corden carried Grande into Starbucks piggyback style where the “7 Rings” singer ordered a soy latte from a befuddled barista.
Now –it looks like the mega-popular beverage chain and the Sweetener songstress are collaborating on a new drink or sweet treat.
Here’s what we know about the Ariana Grande x Starbucks collaboration
Right now we don’t actually know what’s happening, but on Monday, March 4, 2019 –both Grande and Starbucks began leaving hints on their social media accounts. It began when Starbucks posted some cryptic messages about finding out your “cloud name.” They also posted a picture of a cloud with hidden messages that said “thank you, next” and “tomorrow you’ll be smiling real smiles.” Just for reference, our cloud name is Fluffy A. Dewpebble, which doesn’t really make any sense.
In addition to the secret messages and cloud names, Starbucks also posted some sort of sugary dessert in the shape of a cloud, as well as what appears to be a cloud-shaped bath bomb.
How do the Starbucks clouds connect to Ariana Grande?
In addition to the “thank you, next” message on the Starbucks IG account, Grande posted her own cryptic words on social media. On Twitter, she tweeted some emojis of clouds, a coffee cup and a black heart saying “@starbucks 3/5” Whatever is going doing, we’re going to know about it March 5.

Whatever this collab between Grande and Starbucks is, it wouldn’t be the first time the coffee shop honored the singer. In 2015, they honored her with an unoffical “Ariana Grande” Starbucks drink”.
Like the songstress, the drink is sugary sweet. The Ariana Grande is a frappucino that includes the base of the Cotton Candy Frappuccino (vanilla and raspberry), extra mocha syrup, extra mocha chips, and a topping of whipped cream and caramel drizzle. Honestly, it makes our teeth ache just thinking about it. If you want to try it for yourself, you can still head to your local Starbucks and ask for it. If they have the ingredients on hand, they will be happy to whip one up for you.
