Songstress Ariana Grande and Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson are hot and heavy, and they want the world to know just how in love and obsessed with one another they are. We love a good romance, but we have to admit that the speed at which Grande and Davidson’s relationship moved caught us off guard just a bit.

The pair were first linked in early May 2018. At the time, a source told People that the couple who had met when the “Side to Side” singer hosted SNL in 2016, were just “casually dating.” Clearly, the source had no idea what they were talking about because now, after just a few short weeks of dating, they are engaged.

Even before the internet caught a glimpse of the “Into You” singer’s massive pear-cut diamond ring that reportedly cost the comedian nearly $100,000 fans began to speculate that their relationship was way more serious than they were letting on. In early June, Los Angeles based tattoo artist London Reese posted two photographs of Davidson’s new ink. Both paid homage to Grande. One image was a black bunny mask, the “No Tears Left to Cry” singer wore on the cover of her 2016 album, Dangerous Woman. The SNL star also got his fiance’s initials tattooed on his right thumb.

While Grande hasn’t come right out and announced her engagement, she’s been thanking fans and friends for their well wishes and defending her love of Davidson in the midst of a slew of haters who feel that the couple moved entirely too fast. On Sunday, June 17th, she got super candid in response to a Twitter user calling her dumb.  Grande wrote back, “The truth is i been the f–k thru it and life’s too short to be cryptic n s–t about something as beautiful as this love I’m in. so ǝʇǝԀ it is.”

Now, it looks like the singer/actress is done playing coy.  Grande revealed that the pair recently found an apartment and moved in together. She shared the news on her Instagram stories with a hilarious screenshot of SpongeBob Squarepants. On the image, she wrote, “Us in our new apartment with no furniture 1 speaker and red vines.” The singer also revealed that she has new music about her love.

On her Instagram account when announcing the pre-order date for her upcoming album, Sweetener, the “No Tears Left To Cry”  singer dropped a snippet of an interlude track called “Pete.” Though the quick clip didn’t have any lyrics referencing Davidson directly, it did include her signature vocals. Obviously, this news literally sent Twitter into a frenzy and Grande’s mentions have been on fire with fans begging for more details. When a fan on Twitter asked about the snippet, Grande said, “the one from today isss from an interlude ab pete.”

It looks like we’ll have to wait until Sweetener drops in August to hear the full version of “Pete,” but Grande has promised a video for “The Light Is Coming” soon. She also promised to release another unnamed song on July 20th. However, if you follow Davidson and Grande on social media, we’re certain you’ll get some more details on their whirlwind relationship before then.

We love Grande, but honestly, all we care about right now is that stunning ring!
