Ariana Grande’s ‘Sweetener’ World Tour Is So Popular, She’s Already Adding Extra Concert Dates in 2019
We all know that Ariana Grande has one of the best voices of her generation. With her effortless high-notes, chart-topping songs, and energetic performances, any fan of hers would do anything in their power to see this queen live in concert.
Beginning in March 2019, the pop singer will kick off her Sweetener tour in North America. Grande announced her long-awaited tour back in October, and since fans everywhere were buying tickets left and right, the singer has decided to add a few extra dates.
How many shows have been added?
The Sweetener tour originally included 42-arena shows in major cities around North America. Since the tour is so popular and fans want to hear their favorite Ariana Grande hits live, the singer has added nine more performances to her tour.
The first new dates will take place in Chicago, IL at the United Center on April 8th. Grande has also added shows in Los Angeles on May 8th, Miami on June 1st, Brooklyn on June 15th, New York on June 19th, Washington, DC on June 21st, Boston on June 22nd, Philadelphia on June 24th, and Toronto on June 26th.
That is nine shows in total that the pop singer has added to her tour. Fans in every city around North America have multiple chances to see the pop singer live in concert as she performs her smash hits ‘God Is A Woman’, ‘Breathin’, ‘No Tears Left to Cry’, ‘Thank U, Next’ and many more.
Tickets for the newly announced shows go on sale December 14th at 10 a.m. They range from $39.50-$499.
Grande’s rise to popularity
With the release of her fourth studio album, Sweetener, Ariana Grande has reached ultimate stardom. The 25-year-old pop star has wowed fans around the world with her heartfelt ballads and they cannot wait to see Grande sing her heart out live on stage!
Since the release of her album, Ariana Grande has been hard at work perfecting well-constructed music videos and leaving audiences around the world with her one of kind live performances.
Earlier this month, the singer released her well-anticipated music video for her No.1 single, ‘Thank U, Next’, that shutdown YouTube a few minutes after its premiere. The video pays homage to romcom favorites such as Mean Girls, 13 Going On 30, Bring It On, and Legally Blonde.
While she’s on the road performing songs from her most recent album, let’s hope the songstress performs ‘Thank U, Next’ the same way live as she did in her music video. Fingers crossed!

Get your tickets before they’re gone
Since the first round of tickets for the originally scheduled shows are dwindling down as we speak, tickets for the additional nine shows are expected to do the same. Even though ticket prices are looking pretty high, fans are willing to put down some big bucks to see Grande live.
If you haven’t had a chance to get your tickets, you have another opportunity!
