Baby Alert! Pics Reveal Anne Hathaway is Now Most Likely an Official Mom of Two
Academy Award-winning actress Anne Hathaway has been showing off her baby bump for the past few months in anticipation of having her second child. Already a mom to 3-year-old Jonathan with husband Adam Shulman, Hathaway was recently spotted with her son and hubby, who was holding onto a baby carrier.

Over the summer, Hathaway took to social media to announce her happy news with a pic of her growing belly. “It’s not for a movie… #2,” she captioned the post. The actress made a point of giving a shout out of support to those struggling to conceive. “All kidding aside, for everyone going through infertility and conception hell, please know it was not a straight line to either of my pregnancies. Sending you extra love,” she wrote.
Hathaway, who is currently starring in the Amazon Prime series Modern Love, had to miss out on the premiere of her latest film Dark Waters telling fans, “It’s for a great reason,” according to The Daily Mail.
The Oscar winner also recently celebrated her 37th birthday in November, and again shared her joy on Instagram. “Feeling so much love this birthday week!” she wrote. “I want to thank everyone for the flowers and the books and chocolates and cards and crystals and other incredible goodies and most importantly I want to thank God for giving me a good hair day. It was so, so appreciated #37.”

After having her first child in 2016, Hathaway spoke out against the pressure on women to instantly drop their post-baby weight. She brought up an incident in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres where a man at her gym commented that she must be “trying to lose the baby weight.” According to CNN, Hathaway told DeGeneres she replied, “No, it’s a little bit too soon to worry about weight. I’m just trying to regain my strength. He said, ‘Great’ and walked away and I cried a little bit.”
Hathaway also voiced her opinion on the subject via Instagram a few months after giving birth to son Jonathan. “Love what you have been given.” she wrote alongside a picture of her jeans in August 2016. “There is no shame in gaining weight during pregnancy (or ever). There is no shame if it takes longer than you think it will to lose the weight (if you want to lose it at all). There is no shame in finally breaking down and making your own jean shorts because last summer’s are just too dang short for this summer’s thighs. Bodies change. Bodies grow. Bodies shrink. It’s all love (don’t let anyone tell you otherwise).”
Baby makes four
Entertainment Tonight reported that pics of Hathaway and Shulman walking with Jonathan and holding a baby carrier were obtained by the Daily Mail, unofficially confirming they are now a family of four.
The Modern Love star was given a baby shower in October which included celebs such as Jessica Chastain. Hathaway recently visited LIVE with Kelly and Ryan, revealing that she knew the sex of the baby but wanted to keep it secret, and admitting that she enjoyed toying with people who asked about baby names.
“I try to come up with names that are beautiful-sounding but will make other people intensely uncomfortable. It’s really cruel, but I enjoy it so much,” she told the co-hosts with a giggle. “Everyone’s so sincere about it and happy for you and being nice to you and all those things, so I like to twist that. And then you correct them, and they never get it right. And you make really intense, sincere eye contact and you don’t look away and you don’t blink. And you have to watch them just squirm.”
