Baby Sussex’s Future Playmates

The birth of Baby Sussex is just around the corner and the world can hardly wait. There almost seems to be more hype around the birth of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s baby than there was around their royal wedding. Royal fans can’t wait to learn the baby’s gender, name, and, eventually, who the baby will become friends with! There really is nothing cuter in the royal family than the royal children. Here’s who Baby Sussex will probably befriend as a little royal.

Baby Sussex’s cousins

Of course, Baby Sussex will spend a great deal of time with their cousins, the Cambridges. Kate Middleton and Prince William’s children Prince George (who is currently 5), Princess Charlotte (who is currently 3), and Prince Louis (who will be about a year older than the little Sussex) will all be excited to show their cousin the ropes as they grow older.

“It’s such a special time to have little kiddies. And a cousin for George and Charlotte, as well, and Louis. It’ll be really special,” said Kate of her sister-in-law’s impending due date.

Serena Williams’s daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian

It’s no secret that Markle is close friends with tennis star Serena Williams. The two met back in 2014 at DirectTV’s Celebrity Beach Bowl where they played a game of flag football together. The two hit it off immediately and have been close friends ever since.

“We hit it off immediately, taking pictures, laughing through the flag football game we were both playing in, and chatting not about tennis or acting, but about all the good old fashioned girly stuff,” Markle once wrote on her former lifestyle blog, The Tig. “So began our friendship.”

Williams has a little one of her own, Alexis Olympia, so it’s a sure bet the two will get some playtime in whenever their moms get together.

James Matthews and Pippa Middleton’s son, Arthur Michael William Matthews

Kate’s younger sister Pippa and her husband recently had a baby boy. In fact, he was born on the same day Markle and Harry announced their pregnancy. Arthur Michael William Matthews is sure to be another one of Baby Sussex’s playmates.

Zara Tindall’s children, Lena and Mia

Prince Harry’s cousin Zara Tindall and her husband Mike have two daughters, Lena and Mia. Zara is an equestrian and Olympian, according to Wikipedia. She’s the daughter of Princess Anne and Mark Phillips and the eldest granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth.

Mia is currently five years old and baby Lean, who’s only nine months, will surely be happy to have another cousin close to her age.

The royal wedding kids

It’s also safe to assume that the children featured in Markle and Harry’s royal wedding will take Baby Sussex under their wings. Jasper Dyer, the son of Harry’s friend Mark Dyer, was the page boy at Markle and Harry’s wedding. Zalie Warren was the youngest member of Markle’s bridal party and will also, we’re sure, love Baby Sussex. Zalie is the daughter of Harry’s friends Zoe and Jake Warren. She’s also the Prince’s goddaughter.
