‘The Bachelor’ Fans Cannot ‘Forgive Chris Harrison’ For Sending Home the Best Singer
While The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart is not getting the ratings that a regular season of The Bachelor does, many fans are still invested. During the season finale, fans took to social media to complain to Chris Harrison about the best singer leaving because she was not part of a couple. Several viewers say they cannot “forgive Chris Harrison” for sending the best singer home.
What happened to Rudi and Matt on the season finale of ‘The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart’?
The three remaining couples on The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart were Matt Ranaudo and Rudi Gutierrez, Jamie Weintraub and Trevor Holmes, and Chris Watson and Bri Stauss. Fans were expecting to see all three couples perform in Nashville at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
However, Chris Harrison came to emphasize that the three couples need to be confident in their relationships. Matt knew that he was happy having a relationship with Rudi; however, he wasn’t in love with her.
The two had a conversation and decided that they could not move forward because they were not in love like the other two couples. Rudi and Matt both went home before they were able to perform in the finale competition.
Fans were outraged that Rudi and Matt could not stay and sing
Many viewers took to Twitter after Rudi and Matt left the mansion. They feel that the singers should not go home because they are not in a deep enough relationship. It’s a short period, and fans felt that Matt and Rudi were moving along as a couple.
“If Rudi doesn’t get to perform tonight because true love is a requirement to take the stage, I will never forgive Chris Harrison,” tweeted one fan.
Fans were appalled that their favorite singers went home before the final performance.
“We’ve been ROBBED,” wrote another fan on Twitter. “[I] will never get over missing Rudi’s last performance.”
The comments kept flowing in, mainly because fans did not get to see Rudi sing Whitney Houston.
“Imagine being the best singer duo on a SINGING SHOW and having to leave because you don’t want to get engaged in the next 3-5 business days,” added another Twitter user.
Spoiler King Reality Steve said the show ‘has a major identity crisis’
“How many bands have a male/female leads that aren’t together/dating/married and still produce hit singles and multi-platinum albums?” questioned Reality Steve. “Plenty.”
Reality Steve follows and reports on Bachelor Nation throughout every show. He points out that there is no reason the couple should not be able to sing together.
“This is the part of #ListenToYourHeart makes absolutely zero sense and why the show has a major identity crisis,” Reality Steve wrote on Twitter. “Why do Matt and Rudi have to feel like they have to be a ‘couple’ or ‘together’ to perform? Because the show tells them they have to? Utterly stupid.”
Bachelor Nation’s only hope at this point is to see Rudi or Matt on a future Bachelor In Paradise, The Bachelor, or The Bachelorette.
