‘The Bachelor’ Finale Promo Has Fans Speculating How Peter Weber’s Season Really Ends
Say what you want about The Bachelor’s Peter Weber, but you can’t call him a liar. Prior to the premiere in January 2020, the 28-year-old pilot promised fans his ending would remain spoiler-free. Now, we’re a few weeks away from Weber’s Bachelor finale, and still, no one knows the identity of his final choice. But even so, ABC has been dropping teasers as the journey continues. Then on Feb. 24, the network released a short Bachelor finale promo, which has fans theorizing Weber’s final pick between Hannah Ann Sluss, Madison Prewett, and Victoria Fuller.
What happens in ‘The Bachelor’ Season 24 finale promo from Feb. 24?
For those of you who don’t remember, Weber previously admitted he had been “intimate” during Fantasy Suite week. As a result, Madison — who is saving herself for marriage and asked Weber not to sleep with anyone else — walked out. Thus, leaving fans on a cliffhanger.
Then at the start of The Bachelor finale promo from Feb. 24, Victoria F. and Hannah Ann stand side-by-side at the final three rose ceremony elimination. Madison is notably missing, but will she return? Fans will have to wait and see.
Nevertheless, everyone is in an emotional spot. “It just makes me feel uncomfortable,” Hannah Ann says in a voiceover. “I want to be here so bad, I want to feel chosen.”
Meanwhile, Victoria F. says, “It’s unfair and I don’t like it.” Then the promo flashes to a shot of Weber in tears. “I didn’t go about this the right way,” he tells host Chris Harrison.
Flash-forward past the “Women Tell All” portion, The Bachelor season finale promo continues with Weber freaking out. “I am so grateful for our relationship, but it’s all over,” he says in a voiceover as dramatic shots from Australia flash by. “I don’t even know how to do this. My heart’s broken right now.”
Later, past the familiar shot of Barbara pleading her son to go after someone, Weber is seen apologizing. “I’m so sorry,” Weber says. “From the bottom of my heart, I’m so sorry. I swear to god, I never envisioned this.”

Now, before we dive in, this fan theory banks on a spoiler in regards to Weber’s upcoming elimination on The Bachelor. So don’t proceed reading unless you’re ready to be spoiled by Bachelor Nation’s Reality Steve.
‘The Bachelor’ finale promo prompts fans to think Peter Weber apologizes to Hannah Ann Sluss after choosing Madison Prewett
According to Reality Steve, Victoria F. is the next woman to be eliminated from Weber’s season. She is sent home during the final three rose ceremony, leaving Hannah Ann and Madison. That said, we don’t know whether Madison leaves or returns at this point.
Following The Bachelor Week 9 on Feb. 24, a fan on Reddit theorized who Weber is apologizing to in the finale promo. And although the preview makes it seem like Weber is apologizing to Madison, the fan thinks it’s actually Hannah Ann.
“Does anyone else get the vibe that Peter saying ‘I’m so sorry, I promise you I never envisioned this’ that he’s talking to [Hannah Ann], and he’s going to go after Madison?” the fan wrote. “It seriously to me sounds like the type of apology tone Arie [Luyendyk Jr.] had when breaking up with Becca [Kufrin].”
Then another fan added to the original post, diving deeper into what could happen to make Weber apologize to Hannah Ann at the end of the season.
“Madi leaves, Peter is devastated but pulls himself together to be with Hannah, no proposal. Can’t get Madi out of his head, dumps Hannah and tries to win back Madi,” the fan wrote.
Many Bachelor Nation fans agreed the theory about Weber’s finale is plausible. But even so, it seems no one really knows what to expect moving forward. As some fans mentioned, Weber could still be apologizing to Madison.
“That’s actually the part that made me think he was saying that to Madison,” a fan commented in response to the original post. “Like he could have never imagined either him rejecting her or them not being together in the end.”
The fan continued: “Or if it is [Hannah Ann] I could see it being a situation where he chose to date [Hannah Ann] post season and very quickly decided he wanted to go after Madi. Ugh, I just want to know!”
Regardless of what happens, Weber’s Bachelor finale will surely keep us guessing until the very end. And even now, it’s quite possible his journey is still ongoing. When speaking with The Hollywood Reporter on Feb. 25, Weber couldn’t confirm or deny whether his story is still up in the air post-filming.
“It’s definitely a wild ending,” Weber said. “I will say this: It was the craziest last week of my life. Things until the very last second change.”
