Reality Steve previously spoiled that many other contestants will make it on ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Season 7

Reality Steve spoiled a slew of contestants who will reportedly be going to Bachelor in Paradise Season 7. He shared that Kelsey Weier, Natasha Parker, Tammy Ly, Ivan Hall, Joe Park, Abigail Heringer, Serena Pitt, and Chelsea Vaughn will be among the cast on BIP.

But the blogger’s newest update revealed a major game-changer for the franchise: a former franchise lead is coming onto Bachelor in Paradise as a contestant.

The spoiler posted on his website that Tia Booth, Alayah Benavidez, and Demi Burnett will be joining the BIP cast in 2021. He also shared one huge twist: Becca Kufrin will be coming on the season as well.

“I think most people’s first reaction to the new names above are Becca and Demi must both be there as host/bartender or something, right,” Reality Steve wrote. “No. From everything I’m being told, both are there as contestants to date. Which makes Becca the first lead to ever go on BIP to date after they were the lead.”

“Kinda surprising she’d do this, but I’m not her,” he continued. “I’m sure she’s got her reasons.”

Becca Kufrin was on ‘The Bachelor’ and lead of ‘The Bachelorette’ before possible ‘BIP’ appearance

Becca originally was on Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s season of The Bachelor. Arie proposed to Becca at the end of the season. In a never-been-done-before show moment, Arie broke up with Becca but was talking to Lauren Burnham already to plan a reconciliation. Arie and Lauren subsequently got married and have children.

But before that, ABC made Becca the new lead of The Bachelorette. The announcement came right after The Bachelor: After the Final Rose aired their breakup.

She went on to strike a connection with Garrett Yrigoyen and Blake Horstmann, choosing Garrett in the end. Becca had to defend Garrett after he “double-tapped” controversial pictures on Instagram. But she stood by his side for two years, until the summer of 2020 when they broke off their engagement.

It will be interesting to see how Becca navigates BIP as a former lead on the show. While she had many contestants competing for her time on The Bachelorette, BIP will definitely be a whole new atmosphere for her. She previously stopped by BIP following her season of The Bachelorette to give closure to Colton Underwood, who has since come out as gay.

Also, fellow potential BIP contestant Demi got engaged on the show to Kristian Haggerty in 2019. They were the first relationship between two women on a Bachelor Nation show to be featured.

Bachelor in Paradise airs on ABC on August 16.
