‘Bachelor in Paradise’: How Does Chris Harrison Feel About Blake Horstmann’s Behavior?
Oh, what a tangled web Bachelor fan favorites weave in the offseason. It’s like they’ve never heard the saying “what’s done in the dark will come to light.”
This season’s culprit of not playing nice once the cameras stopped rolling was Blake Horstmann. Horstmann was a fan favorite on Becca Kufrin’s season. When she dumped him as he was getting ready to propose, the moment shook all of Bachelor Nation and made audiences beg for him to be the next Bachelor.
But now that he’s on Bachelor in Paradise, it seems that he might not have been the good boy that everyone thought he was.
What did Horstmann do?
Last night, it was revealed that Horstmann dated Kristina Schulman from Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor and Caelynn Miller-Keyes from Colton Underwood’s season at the same time.
“I thought he was a great guy and that we really had something,” Miller-Keyes confessed to bartender Wells Adams.”We talked about skipping Paradise and coming out with us, and then he ghosted me. Just like fully stopped communication and now I’m here. F—ing first date. And then we saw each other at a music festival. He ended up sweet-talking me and we spent the night together. And we wake up and I’m in his bed and he’s DMing Hannah G. I’m still in his bed, he’s talking about how hot Tayshia is. I was like, ‘Are you kidding me?’ Like no dude, that’s not okay. And then he was like, ‘I just want to let you know I hooked up with Kristina the night before.'”
Miller-Keyes said that Horstmann even told her to keep their whole relationship a secret.
“He calls me two weeks ago and he’s like, ‘No one can know about us. We’ve got to lie. We’ve got to lie our asses off in Paradise.'”
What does Chris Harrison think?
Chris Harrison is like the godfather of all things Bachelor related. So when one of the contestants does something heinous, we all want to know what he thinks.
He recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight to give his opinion.
“There’s nothing good about… the disaster that was Stagecoach, where he was with Kristina, the next night was with Caelynn,” he said. “Not a good look. Not a great move. Not smart at all. Thinking he was somehow gonna get away with that and just stroll into Paradise and it was gonna be just this great time, he would move on, that is what is beyond me. That’s what I don’t understand. What was he thinking was going to happen?”
” … It’s only arrogance, I guess, to think that you were gonna stroll into Paradise and that we wouldn’t know as producers, that the girls weren’t gonna talk, that everything would just magically go away ’cause you’re some great guy,” Harrison continued. “Maybe he was believing the hype, drinking his own Kool-Aid, thinking that all the people that tell him out in public that he’s the greatest guy ever, maybe he thought he was the greatest guy ever. Maybe this is exactly what he needed, a swift kick in the a**.”
