‘Bachelor in Paradise’: Is Hannah G. the New Villain?

My my my, Bachelor in Paradise sure is getting messy. Of course, relationships are forming and new connections are being made. But some of the strongest budding romances are now on the brink of breaking up.

Who is the current villain of ‘Paradise’?

The first week of the show, it was made pretty clear that Blake Horstmann was public enemy number one. He went on BIP and immediately began pursuing Tayshia Adams, but failed to disclose to anyone that he had been hooking up with other contestants prior to coming on the beach, like two-time BIPer Kristina Schulman and Caelynn Miller-Keyes from Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor.

It wasn’t until Miller-Keyes told everyone about his behavior that Horstmann even thought about coming clean.

“I thought he was a great guy and that we really had something,” Miller-Keyes told Wells Adams last week. “We talked about skipping Paradise and coming out with us, and then he ghosted me. Just like fully stopped communication and now I’m here. F—ing first date. And then we saw each other at a music festival. He ended up sweet-talking me and we spent the night together. And we wake up and I’m in his bed and he’s DMing Hannah G. I’m still in his bed, he’s talking about how hot Tayshia is. I was like, ‘Are you kidding me?’ Like no dude, that’s not okay. And then he was like, ‘I just want to let you know I hooked up with Kristina the night before.'”

Is Hannah Godwin the new villain?

But there might be someone joining Horstmann in the villain camp and that person is Hannah Godwin. You might remember Godwin from Underwood’s season of The Bachelor. She made it to the final three before being sent home and having her heart crushed.

As soon as Godwin stepped onto the beach, it was clear that she was a hot commodity. Two of the guys, Dylan Barbour and Wills Reid, made it perfectly clear that they came on Bachelor in Paradise for the sole purpose of meeting Godwin.

Week one, Godwin and Barbour really hit it off and were conjoined at the hip. Barbour expressed his love for her repeatedly and Godwin seemed to be on the same page as him. At least until Reid pulled her for a chat. The two spoke for about five minutes before Reid kissed Godwin. Not only did Godwin not pull back, but she went in for the kiss as well.

Later in the show, Horstmann suddenly realized that he was also there for Godwin after Adams made it clear that she was done with him. He kissed Godwin as well, and she, again, went for it.

At first, the people on the beach seemed to forgive Godwin for all of this behavior. But last night, she crossed a line that the rest of the contestants didn’t take too kindly to.

She made out with Horstmann right in front of Barbour and the rest of the contestants, which showed, not only a lack of empathy, but a lack of respect for Barbour.

Oh Hannah, are those villain horns that we see peeking out of that blonde hair?
