‘Bachelor in Paradise’: These Two Fan Favorites are Definitely Dating

Ahh, Bachelor in Paradise. A show that takes beautiful people, casts them away to a remote island, and forces them to date one another. What more could you ask for?

For fans of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, a new season of BIP is like Christmas morning. It’s a chance to see all of our favorite contestants again, but this time in a much more relaxed atmosphere. We get to see their personalities really come out and learn a bit more about them.

But most importantly, we get to see the contestants go from heartbroken after leaving The Bachelor/ Bachelorette, to finding new love. Which is one of the most redeeming parts of the show.

Which two fan favorites get together?

It’s obviously amazing when two fan favorites find their way to one another.

So which ones have fallen in love this season?

Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Dean Unglert.

“Dean and Caelynn are dating,” a source confirmed to E! News.

“Caelynn traveled to Spain to meet Dean and they were together for four days,” the source continued. “They are now in Venice, Italy and plan to travel around Italy together before coming back to LA.”

But apparently, their time on BIP wasn’t without drama.

“They both went to Paradise and really hit it off there, but then Dean got cold feet and left,” a source told People.

“He got home and realized he really had feelings for Caelynn, so went back to Paradise for a second chance. Things have been going much better between them since they left Mexico together.”

Unglert didn’t want to be in a relationship

As someone who has crashed and burned at Bachelor relationships in the past, Unglert tried not to get into anything romantic this season.

“Truth be told: I went on the show not looking to be in a relationship with anyone,” he said on an episode of his “Help, I Suck at Dating” podcast. “I’m not saying whether I am in a relationship now or I’m not, but I went on the show with zero intention to leave the show in a relationship.”

“Does that degrade the integrity of the show? Probably a little bit,” he said. “I went in with the intention, like we all do, of you get on the show, you’re gonna sit on the beach for a little bit and relax, have some drinks, meet some new people, hang out, whatever.”

In fact, he was pretty against falling in love.

“I went on the show without expecting to leave in a relationship, almost actually fighting it to leave in a relationship,” he continued.

His aversion to BIP relationships may stem from how negatively he was perceived after he dated both Kristina Schulman and Danielle Lombard on one season of the show.

“In the moment, while I was filming, I just wanted to be honest and open about everything — including my feelings for both of them,” Unglert told People in 2017 of dating both women.

“That way, if Kristina knew how I felt about Danielle, it left the ball in her court to decide if she wanted to be around or not. On the other side of that, it’s kind of annoying how the editing kind of portrayed my relationship with Danielle — that it was purely physical and that there was objectification involved. There was a lot more emotion. While Kristina and I were definitely emotionally attached as well. There was just a lot more to it. But it all boiled down to what I was doing.”

“People ask me if I regret anything – of course I made a lot of bad decisions while I was there, but I don’t necessarily regret it because had I not done it, I wouldn’t have been able to look back with the perspective of knowing what I did wrong,” he said at the time. “The negativity is horrible.”
