‘Bachelor in Paradise’: This Contestant Gets Involved with Multiple Women
The Bachelorette is winding down. There are three guys left, which means we are just weeks away from the finale. But more importantly, we are just weeks away from the start of Bachelor in Paradise, which is arguably one of the best reality dating shows on television.
What is ‘Bachelor in Paradise’?
Bachelor in Paradise is a second (or third or fourth) chance for Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants to find love. Each week, new contestants are brought onto the show, hoping for a chance to fall in love with other members of Bachelor Nation. The contestants who aren’t in a couple at the end of each rose ceremony are sent home.
Who is involved in a love triangle?
It never fails that someone gets caught up in a love triangle on the show. This season, it seems like it’ll be fan-favorite Blake Horstmann who gets himself into the sticky situation.
Horstmann originally appeared on Becca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette and warmed audiences’ hearts with his genuine attitude and caring demeanor. So seeing him playing the field may be a little strange.
According to the promo, Horstmann ends up liking both Hannah Godwin and Tayshia Adams.
Adams and Godwin are used to fighting over men, though, as they both made it to the final three on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor.
“He’s just gotten himself into a bit of a sticky situation,” Dean Unglert, who was also in a love triangle on a previous season of Bachelor in Paradise, says in the promo. “We’ve all been there before.”
But apparently, the love triangle isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be for Horstmann.
Later in the promo, he’s seen crying.
“This is real life,” he says through his tears.
What else happens this season?
The promo also reveals that Derek Peth and John Paul Jones get into it over the course of the season. Jones apparently felt like Peth was taking advantage of women.
But perhaps the biggest bombshell of the upcoming season is that fan-favorite Demi Burnett comes out as bisexual.
“As prepping for Paradise was going on during the last month, word got around and I heard that Demi had a girlfriend and that she was planning on bringing her on the show,” Reality Steve revealed.
Burnett’s girlfriend eventually comes on the show and becomes a part of the cast.
“Demi’s girlfriend showed up on the beach late last week, Demi told everyone this is the woman she’s been dating, they were given a date card that night, and got to stay on the show. Demi’s girlfriend is Kristian Haggerty.”
“Demi talked about it with producers, she knew Kristian was gonna be brought in after filming had started, and she wanted to use the show as an outlet to come out as bisexual,” Steve continued.” They’re not having Kristian battle over other men for Demi or anything like that. They are there and they are a couple and, seemingly, I guess just seeing where it goes. But the fact they didn’t leave together right away makes me think these two will stay ’til the very end.”
