‘Bachelor in Paradise’: Who Were the Guys Fighting in the Promo?

We made it, friends! We are finally back in Paradise. And while it may be fun and riveting for us, Paradise doesn’t seem quite as great for the contestants.

We are only one night in and there have already been tears! Last night’s episode was dramatic enough, but according to the preview that aired before the credits, things will get even crazier.

What happened last night?

On night one of BIP, we learned that a lot has been happening off-camera. Apparently, Blake Horstmann from Becca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette had been hooking up with both Caelynn Miller-Keyes from Colton Underwood’s season and former BIPer Kristina Schulman.

“I thought he was a great guy and that we really had something,” Miller-Keyes told Wells Adams of Horstmann. “We talked about skipping Paradise and coming out with us, and then he ghosted me. Just like fully stopped communication and now I’m here. F—ing first date. And then we saw each other at a music festival. He ended up sweet-talking me and we spent the night together. And we wake up and I’m in his bed and he’s DMing Hannah G. I’m still in his bed, he’s talking about how hot Tayshia is. I was like, ‘Are you kidding me?’ Like no dude, that’s not okay. And then he was like, ‘I just want to let you know I hooked up with Kristina the night before.'”

Horstmann also told her that he didn’t want it to come out that they had dated.

“He calls me two weeks ago and he’s like, ‘No one can know about us. We’ve got to lie,” she continued. “‘We’ve got to lie our asses off in Paradise.'”

Later, Schulman came onto the beach and asked Horstmann out on a date, but not for the reasons that he might think.

“I honestly thought he would have a little more respect from me, so knowing he spent the night with her kind of hurt my feelings,” she told the camera. “That’s a slap in the face to me. I will not let myself be f—ed over again, so today I’m going to make Blake my bitch.”

What’s still to come?

The preview for last night showed that we are nowhere near done with the tears. The drama is only going to intensify as the season goes on.

It looks like John Paul Jones and former BIPer Derek Peth get into it over something and at one point Jones accuses Peth of mistreating women.

The trailer even showed a clip of Bachelorette Brown coming onto the beach, which made fans wonder if she would be competing on Paradise as well. She is single after all.

But the most shocking thing in the trailer was the big fight.

Who fights?

According to Reality Steve, the issue happened before the second rose ceremony.

At this point, Christian Estrada from Kufrin’s season had been clicking with Nicole Lopez-Alvar from Underwood’s season.

In order to impress her, Estrada brought a pinata to the cocktail party. While Estrada and Lopez-Alvar were talking, Clay Harbor from Kufrin’s season, tried to step in and talk to Lopez-Alvar.

Estrada said no and Harbor went back to tell the other men. The whole thing angered former BIPer Jordan Kimball and he started arguing with Estrada.

Kimball then threw the piñata in the ocean.

Estrada responded by grabbing Kimball’s arm which caused Kimball to push him to the ground, which is what we saw in the trailer.
