Bachelor Peter Weber Suffered A ‘Freak Accident’ While Filming, Reportedly Received 22 Stitches On His Face

Peter Weber is currently filming his season of The Bachelor. But it seems there was a slight snafu in production today. The handsome pilot was reportedly part of a “freak accident” and was rushed to the hospital.

Radar Online reported on the incident first, and reports that Weber received 22 stitches on his face.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the bachelor injured his head while filming in Costa Rica.

“According to multiple reports, the 28-year-old reality star, who was recently announced as the franchise’s new lead, was rushed to the hospital and underwent surgery after injuring himself while getting onto a golf cart while filming the ABC series,” reported the publication.

Chris Harrison says Peter Weber is fine and still handsome

According to host Chris Harrison, Weber is fine and production is already back in action.

“Peter suffered a freak accident. He got a cut on his head, he did get stitches but he’s 100% OK and production is already back underway,” he told ET in a statement. “He’s still the dashing, handsome pilot we’ve all dreamed of.”

[Wonderful that Weber’s alright! But it begs the question: What would have happened if, after this “freak accident,” Weber wasn’t the “dashing, handsome pilot we’ve all dreamed of”?!]

Harrison even took to Instagram to address the incident.

“There’s been some wild claims and rumors about Peter today. Peter suffered a freak accident. He got a cut on his head, he did get stitches but he’s 100% OK and production is already back underway. He’s still the dashing, handsome pilot we’ve all dreamed of,” he captioned a photo of him and Weber, mirroring the statement he gave to ET.

Harrison seems to feel pretty mild about the whole thing, as he was joking in the comments section with members of Bachelor Nation and fans of the show.

“I heard you attacked him with a spork and I choose to believe that version of events,” commented a Bachelor producer, joking (if it’s not obvious).

To which Harrison replied: “he shouldn’t have tried to steal my pudding pack. He clearly started it!”

“wow, I can’t believe he didn’t follow rule #1 of being the bachelor: “never touch Chris Harrison’s pudding pack” (that’s not a euphemism),” responded the producer.

Bachelor In Paradise alum Dean Unglert chimed in: “i’m concerned about you eating pudding with a spork.”

“i like the little rake marks the spork leaves in my pudding. Like a little golf bunker,” responded Harrison.

So it seems like Weber is A-OK and back to finding the love of his life. Hopefully he’s learned his lesson and never, ever touches Chris Harrison’s pudding ever again.
