Former Bachelorette Becca Kufrin Thinks Blake Horstmann Shouldn’t Go Back To Stagecoach
Bachelor Nation first met Blake Horstmann on Becca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette. He had an early lead but was ultimately beat out by Garrett Yrigoyen. When Kufrin revealed to him that it was Yrigoyen she was giving her final rose to and not him, he had a particularly emotional reaction.
Fast forward to the most recent season of Bachelor In Paradise and Horstmann was, once again, looking for love on TV. He arrived on the beach having spent some time with several other contestants prior to filming and it quickly became clear that he’d hurt some feelings along the way.
Blake Horstmann’s ‘BIP’ drama with Caelynn Miller-Keyes
According to Caelynn Miller-Keyes, she and Horstmann had been seeing each other prior to Paradise. But when they both arrived in Mexico to film, Miller-Keyes said Horstmann made her feel like a “dirty secret.”
To prove his side of the story (that he and Miller-Keyes were never serious), Horstmann published screenshots of text messages the two had sent each other at Stagecoach. They showed Miller-Keyes and Horstmann discussing having casual sex.
The drama’s died down since–Miller-Keyes is happily traveling the world with Dean Unglert and Horstmann is still living his best single life–but the joke is still that Horstmann probably shouldn’t return to Stagecoach.
“I think everyone learns something from the show whether they had a good time or not. They always just learn something and take away from it so that’s all you can ask for,” she said.
She continued: “I support [Blake]. I wish him the best and I want him to find love, but ‘Paradise’ isn’t for everyone.”
Becca Kufrin thinks Blake Horstmann should ‘stay far, far away from Stagecoach’
On a recent episode of Roses and Rose, Kufrin was asked if Horstmann should “go back to Stagecoach.”
“You could not pay me enough to go to Stagecoach for me personally so I’d say no. But he is still single and I think it’s a good way for him to meet someone to potentially have a great night with. So maybe for him yes. I’d say uh-uh. Stay far, far away from Stagecoach,” she said.
Overall, though, Kufrin maintains that Horstmann didn’t do anything wrong at last year’s Stagecoach.
“Here’s my thing. I think it was all blown out of proportion and this is why. He was single, the girls were single. Like, they can do what they want. I think the thing that bit him in the butt is he made his bed and he had to sleep in it… in the same location as multiple women. So I probably would have approached it a little bit differently but I mean like, hey, if you want to do you and have fun at Stagecoach, do it. In this day and age it shouldn’t be that big of a deal,” she said.
It seems Kufrin thinks Horstmann should go to Stagecoach if he really wants to but she doesn’t recommend it. Something else she doesn’t recommend for Horstmann? Going back on TV.
“I think he should talk a break maybe from TV for a little bit,” she said.
