‘The Bachelorette’: Dale Moss Responds to His Party City Modeling Gig and It’s Glorious
The Bachelorette Season 16 star Dale Moss knows how to lean into the narrative — and we’re not even talking about what’s going on with Clare Crawley. Recently, some Bachelor Nation fans found Dale modeling Halloween costumes for Party City. But instead of ignoring the comments, Dale addressed the pics with a fun post on Instagram.
Dale Moss is the early frontrunner of Clare Crawley’s season of ‘The Bachelorette’
In case you needed a refresher, Dale has been marketed as Crawley’s early frontrunner on The Bachelorette Season 16. When the 32-year-old came out of the limo in the premiere, Crawley said she felt like she just met her husband. Now, as the ABC reality series heads into the third episode, it appears other suitors may question Dale’s authenticity. So we’ll just have to see how things play out.
Regardless, Dale has had quite the career, even before filming The Bachelorette. He was on practice teams for the Green Bay Packers, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Chicago Bears, and the Carolina Panthers. Dale is also an ambassador for the Special Olympics and model with EWG Management. But the reality star has other avenues he wants to pursue in the future.
In an interview with Midco Sports Network published in June 2020, Dale revealed he wants to model his career after Ryan Seacrest.
“Behind the lens, I’m doing a lot of producing,” he said. “Live events — that’s obviously not happening now — and a documentary, that’s happening under my company, Moss Media.”
Then during an Instagram Story Q&A on Oct. 15, Dale delved deeper into his career aspirations.
“I want to produce documentaries and docuseries when it’s all said and done,” Dale said, adding he went to school for video production. “I feel like thought leaders in the industry and people who can really tell a story have such a unique ability to impact culture in a positive way.”
Dale Moss responds to fans who found his Party City modeling gig on Instagram and Twitter
A few weeks into The Bachelorette Season 16, Bachelor Nation fans uncovered photos of Dale modeling for Party City. Popular finds included a taco, gladiator, and Superman. So naturally, viewers spread the pics like wildfire.
Meanwhile, Dale joined in on the joke. “Love it,” he wrote on Instagram, per Cosmopolitan. “Read your contracts kids ;) could be worse.”
Then on Oct. 26, Dale poked fun at the Party City pics by turning himself into a meme on Instagram and Twitter. In the social media posts, the reality star compared his modeling shot with a new photo of himself wearing the Superman costume while eating a taco. “Dale with it,” he wrote alongside a winky face emoji.
Dale also posted on his Instagram Story at the same time. “Gotta have fun, right?” he told his followers and winked.
Dale is one to roll with the punches, and his response is quickly turning him into a Bachelor Nation fan-favorite. Now, will the former NFL player’s personality continue winning points with Crawley? We’ll have to watch the couple’s journey unfold on The Bachelorette Season 16. But whatever happens, it certainly seems Crawley is happy with how things ended.
“I didn’t let anybody tell me what to do because I know what’s best for myself,” Crawley said on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast on Oct. 14. “That’s why I can literally look back and say I have no regrets. I wasn’t talked into or even encouraged to do something that I didn’t want to do.”
She later added, “This was the season to do things my way.”
