‘Bachelorette’ Fans Are Confused as to Why Tayshia Adams Is Posting to Instagram If She’s Filming for the Show

[Spoiler Alert: Possible spoilers for The Bachelorette, Season 16]

It looks like Bachelorette fans are in for a wild ride. Clare Crawley was announced as the next lead of the show — but it’s now reported that she’s found the love of her life and has forfeited her spot on the show completely. Following this news, media outlets noted that Tayshia Adams would be the next lead. But other women, like Becca Kufrin and Hannah Ann Sluss, arrived on the scene, too — and everyone’s confused.

Fans are even more baffled that Adams seems to be posting to Instagram when she’s also allegedly on the set of the show and without her phone. Here’s what’s going on.

Clare Crawley reportedly isn’t finishing her ‘Bachelorette’ season

Coronavirus (COVID-19) has thrown The Bachelorette into a tailspin. Everyone was excited for Crawley to take center stage as the lead, but her season was allegedly cut short. And this is because she allegedly fell in love with one of her contestants, Dale Moss, early on.

Life & Style was the first to break the news that Crawley and Moss were deeply in love — and they’re also allegedly engaged. ABC has yet to confirm this information, though, so fans can only continue to speculate. And Reality Steve Carbone also commented on the situation. “But Clare has definitely moved on with Dale in some capacity, we don’t have confirmation they were talking pre-show, but we assume they were, and her story will be shown when the season airs in September,” he noted.

To make matters even more confusing, it seems Moss left the resort he was staying at with Crawley. Reality Steve believes he and Crawley are still together and engaged, but fans aren’t so sure.

Rumors circulated that Tayshia Adams would take Crawley’s place

Now that Crawley is allegedly out of the picture for The Bachelorette, the rumors then centered on Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise contestant Tayshia Adams. A source told People that Adams was ready to take Crawley’s spot as soon as she got the call.

“Tayshia was game and ready to go,” a source mentioned. “What remains to be seen is if more men will be brought in now to give Tayshia a full roster of suitors.”

The source also added that the pandemic is complicating how production is going to resume. “Everyone is being tested and contained within this bubble so anyone coming from the ‘outside’ is potentially a problem,” they noted. “So that still needs to be fully resolved at this point in terms of Tayshia’s suitors.”

While Adams was part of the conversation, so were Sluss and Kufrin. Both ladies were spotted at the La Quinta resort where filming would take place. So, could there possibly be three leads? We’re not so sure — but it doesn’t actually seem like that’s the case. Kufrin and Sluss are reportedly no longer at the resort.

Fans are confused by Adams posting to Instagram if she’s on the set of the show

It seems like the rumors are still going strong that Adams is the next lead. But fans are more confused than ever, as she just posted a photo of herself to advertise for Smirnoff on her Instagram on Aug. 4.

“Hello to whichever family member or friend is posting on behalf of Tayshia right now,” one fan commented.

“I bet they made her post this so we don’t think she’s the bachelorette!!!” another guessed. “They’re on to us.”

“Wait why are you posting????” yet another questioned. “You’re supposed to be the Bachelorette right now!!!”

We’re sure we’ll get answers soon enough — and if Adams really is the next lead, we’re sure she either had this post scheduled or someone else is posting on her behalf. Here’s hoping Adams is busy finding love on the show!
