Could ‘The Bachelorette’ Star Win ‘DWTS’ 2 Seasons in a Row? Fans Say ‘Yes’ to Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Performance

The Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe danced through an ankle injury on Dancing With the Stars (DWTS) Week 2. Last year, Hannah Brown from The Bachelorette Season 15 took home the mirrorball trophy. Now, fans believe it could be two in a row for the women from the franchise.

‘The Bachelorette’ Hannah Brown won ‘DWTS’ Season 28

On Nov. 25, 2019, Hannah Brown and her pro partner Alan Bersten performed their final two routines. They danced the Viennese waltz to “Lover” by Taylor Swift, and then a freestyle to “Girl on Fire” by Alicia Keys.

The couple emerged triumphant that evening, beating out Actor and comedian Kel Mitchell and Witney Carson, who finished second. Singers Ally Brooke and Sasha Farber and Lauren Alaina and Gleb Savchenko came in third and fourth place, respectively.

“This has been the most exceptional experience,” Bersten said during the finale. “I’m so honored I could take you on this journey.”

The couple scored 28 out of 30 for the waltz and 30 out of 30 for the freestyle.

“You just have a lightness and an ease of movement that I haven’t seen before,” judge Carrie Ann Inaba said of Brown’s performance in the waltz.

Kaitlyn Bristowe had the highest score during ‘DWTS’ Week 2

The former Bachelorette star Kaitlyn Bristowe and dancing pro Artem Chigvintsev danced the Foxtrot to “I Hope You Dance” by Lee Ann Womack in week 2 DWTS. However, she almost didn’t make it to the ballroom because of an ankle injury.

“If that’s how you dance with an injury, I would love to see it without one,” judge Carrie Ann Inaba praised Bristowe. “There was one little mistake, but, more, please.”

The other judges agreed that the Reality TV star gave an outstanding performance.

“It was beautiful, graceful, and effortless. Well done. Really good,” Derek Hough added.

The couple earned the highest score of the night with 22 points out of a possible 30.

“The way you filled the space. It was like a ballerina,” Bruno Tonioli raved. “It had a classical ballet quality, which I absolutely adore. Well done!”

Fans believe that Kaitlyn Bristowe could win the mirrorball trophy for 2020

“YES YES YES! Artem’s choreography and her talent and stylizing is just — wow!” one fan commented on the the Bachelorette’s YouTube video. “They are now officially my favorites of this year! She has a follow-through that is out of the world and on an injured ankle too? Her top line is the best out of anyone this season, and minus some gapping, she has almost perfect technique. I definitely could see her in the finals — it’s about time Artem gets a front runner! Amazing job! 8!”

Other fans agreed all across social media.

“Crushed it AGAIN Kaitlyn Bristowe,” singer Carly Waddell tweeted. “Also how the *bleep* Did you do that with a hurt ankle?!?!? #DWTS”

Many viewers who watch both shows want to see Bristowe win because of her drive and persistence.

“I really really have so much hope for Kaitlyn,” another fan wrote on the video. “She’s wanted this for so long. Imagine if she wins. How freakin amazing would it be to see Artem win his first mirrorball?”
