Bebe Rexha is making the designers who turned down the opportunity to dress her eat their words.

After being turned down by big-named fashion houses because of her size, Bebe Rexha wowed everyone on the 2019 Grammy Awards red carpet with her show-stopping gown.

As she owned the red carpet, the singer had a few words for those designers who claimed she was “too big.”

Bebe Rexha did not have a problem calling out designers

After a strenuous journey trying to find a designer to dress her for the 2019 Grammy Awards, Bebe Rexha finally found someone who created a gown that was just as beautiful as she is.

On the Grammy Awards red carpet, Bebe Rexha dazzled in a Monsoori red gown with a halter-style top, accentuated waist and flowing tulle skirt.

The singer topped off her look with a sparkly necklace with matching and went with a half-up hairstyle to tie in the look.

As the Best New Artist and Best Country/Duo Group Performance nominee took the red carpet by storm, she was sure to call out the designers who refused to dress her.

While getting interviewed on the red carpet, the singer addressed the controversy surrounding designers not wanting to dress her for the event.

As Bebe Rexha posed for the camera, she had a special message for those designers who claimed she was “too big” for their clothing.

“Yo, you wish you could’ve dressed my fat a**,” the singer stated as she twirled and continued walking the red carpet.

Desingers didn’t want to dress her due to her size

Just last month, Bebe Rexha became a trending topic after she revealed on social media how designers were turning down the opportunity to dress her because she was a size 8.

In the Instagram video, Rexha stated “So I finally get nominated at the Grammys and it’s, like, the coolest thing ever. And a lot of times artists will go and talk to designers and they’ll make them custom dresses to walk the red carpet. … So I had my team hit out a lot of designers and a lot of them do not want to dress me because I’m too big.”

The singer continued, “If a size 6-8, is too big, then I don’t know what to tell you. Then I don’t want to wear your f****** dresses. ’Cause that’s crazy. … You’re saying that all the women in the world that are size 8 and up are not beautiful, and they cannot wear your dresses.”

Fans and fellow celebrities applauded Bebe Rexha for calling out designers who made it seem as though women who are not a size 0 aren’t considered beautiful.

Bebe Rexha revealed that designers, August Getty, Jeremy Scott, Christian Siriano, and Karl Lagerfeld all reached out wanted to dress her after seeing the video.

Rexha told E! on the red carpet, “I just did the video because I was really heartbroken and it bummed me out…I love my body…I just want other girls to love their bodies. I just want to wear and work with people who love me for me.”
