The news that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were getting divorced was huge considering how their relationship started. When they first got together, many fans chose sides between Jolie and Jennifer Aniston since Pitt’s relationship with Jolie started when he was still married to Aniston. Now, fans are starting to talk about that relationship drama again.

But they probably don’t remember what Brad Pitt’s love life looked like before Aniston. He was just an actor trying to break into Hollywood for a number of years. Along the way he dated many costars and was even engaged before he got married to Aniston!

So who did he fall for and why did the relationships end? Here are 10 Brad Pitt relationships you probably forgot about (and one, you will definitely remember).

The ’80s singer dated Brad Pitt for years back when he wasn’t as big of a star. She still talks fondly of him. “‘Hot. He was beautiful with the most amazing body. I saw him for two years,” she said according to the Daily Mail. “He was fun, he was young and very sweet. Some ardent fan gave me a slap when I came out of a supermarket over that relationship!”

After the news of Pitt’s divorce from Jolie broke, there were a lot of theories surrounding what could have caused them to split. One of them was that he reignited his relationship with Sinitta. However, she dispelled this rumor by saying, “It’s nothing to do with me,” she said according to The Mirror. “I haven’t spoken to him about it.”

The whole Jolie and Aniston situation wasn’t the actor’s first love triangle. He was also romantically involved with actress Robin Givens who was married to Mike Tyson in 1986. The boxer reportedly caught the two in bed. “You should have saw his face when he saw me,” Tyson said according to the Daily Mail. Three months later Givens filed for divorce.

The pair went to the MTV Movie Awards together in 1989, but Applegate revealed on Watch What Happens: Live that she ended up ditching him for another guy.

Aniston was also not the actor’s first fiancé! He was previously engaged to actress Jill Schoelen, who starred in Cutting Glass with Pitt in 1989. They got engaged, but she ended up dumping him for another man. He talked about his heartbreak to The Sun.

She called me up in Los Angeles and was crying on the phone. She was lonely and there was a huge drama. At this point I had $800 to my name and I spent $600 of it getting a ticket from Los Angeles to Hungary to see her. I got there, went straight to the set where she was filming and that night we went out to dinner. She told me that she had fallen in love with the director of the film. I was so shocked I said, ‘I’m outta here.’

The actress was also the voice of Tommy Pickles in Rugrats. She dated the actor back in 1989 and it seems like the breakup happened on good terms. She recently came to his rescue when there were allegations that he was abusive to his kids with Jolie. “Brad isn’t an aggressive man. Not at all,” she said according to Daily Mail. “I haven’t been hanging out with him, and I don’t know the circumstances, but I know Brad doesn’t behave in that kind of manner.”

Yup, the movie star also dated the hard working actress in 1989. “It amazes me that people are still fascinated that we went out for four years,” she told Daily Mail. “I was a teenager at the time.” She continued, “I was in my high-school years and it was a wonderful, loving relationship with a fun, smart guy. Then it was over and he went on to become incredibly famous.”

The two actors worked together in the movie Thelma & Louise. They also had a love scene together, which reportedly led to them dating off-screen. “I actually read with him first — there were five candidates for the role,” Davis told The Hollywood Reporter. “And then he came in — this is so embarrassing — but I got a little distracted during the scene, you know? I was forgetting my lines. I was like, ‘I’m totally screwing up this kid’s audition.'”

I mean, he was Brad Pitt!” Pitt reportedly wanted to take a big step in their relationship by having kids. “I was such a kid, I was 22 when we met. It’s taken me until 40 to get my head out of my a**. You can’t make that decision when you’re 22 years old … I wasn’t ready, and he was too good for me.”

10. Jennifer Aniston

We all know about Pitt’s famous ex-wife! The actors met each other through their agents and were set up on a blind date in 1998. They got engaged two years after dating and got married in Malibu in 2000. Of course it wasn’t happily-ever-after. He later worked with Jolie on Mr. & Mrs. Smith and fell in love with her. The married couple got officially divorced in 2005.
