Hannah Ferrier’s days on Below Deck: Mediterranean are officially over. The reality star just confirmed that season 5 will be her last on the popular show. Hannah opens up about her future ahead of season 5

Before the season 5 premiere of Below Deck: Med, Hannah admitted that her time on the show is probably over. In an interview with ET Online, Hannah confessed that she never wanted a long career in the yachting business, especially as a chief stew.

“I think I’m probably done,” she stated. “I learned when I first started yachting in my very early 20s, you know, I would see these women who were in their late 30s, 40s, sitting at a bar, getting wasted with 20-year-olds living in a tiny cabin, and I was like, I don’t want [that].”

Hannah has starred on the popular reality series since the very beginning in 2016. Her decision to leave comes after Kate Chastain, the chief stew on the original show, Below Deck, called it quits. Kate’s comments were very similar to what Hannah said and they both seem to agree that yachting is a “young people’s game.”

The Below Deck: Med star went on to say that she had doubts about staying on the show even before season 5 kicked off. Now that she has confirmed her exit, she said that it will be interesting to see how fans react to the drama this season.

Although Hannah has confirmed that she is done, Captain Sandy Yawn recently called her out for bluffing. Sandy said that Hannah does this “every season” and that most of her crew members want to quit at the end of a year.

Hannah Ferrier claims she quit ‘Below Deck: Med’

After starring on Below Deck: Med for five seasons, Hannah confirmed that she is no longer a part of the reality series. In an interview with Page Six, Hannah said that she quit the show because she wants a career change and is afraid that she will get “locked into yachting [until] there’s nothing else in my life except that.”

But prior to the big announcement, inside sources revealed that Hannah got fired. In fact, multiple sources have confirmed that Hannah did not quit the show and that her behavior ultimately “went too far.”

The insiders did not reveal exactly what Hannah did to get fired, but she has a history of getting romantic with guests and crossing lines. Hannah hasn’t revealed much about the new season, but she did admit that got into her own “head space” a little too much this time around.

The sources also expressed surprised at Hannah’s claims that she quit the series, especially since the drama is about to unfold on the current season of Below Deck: Med.

Bravo has yet to comment on Hannah’s recent announcement.

Is this why Hannah got fired from Below Deck: Mediterranean?

In addition to confirming her exit from the show, Hannah recently opened up about butting heads with Sandy in season 5. According to In Touch Weekly, Hannah revealed that she and Sandy have a “very difficult relationship that goes up and down a lot” this season.

In the season 5 trailer for Below Deck: Med, Sandy commented about how she could have let Hannah go “a long time ago.” This did not sit well with fans and Hannah admitted that there are plenty of moments like that this season.

“And one day she kind of loves me, the next day she hates me,” she added.

Hannah went on to say that she is a strong person who is willing to stand up against bullies. She also noted that season 5 was very stressful for the entire crew and that she found her job to be very exhausting.
