Best Celebrity Reactions to the Mayweather-McGregor Fight

The fight between UFC star Conor McGregor and retired boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. took place on Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, and did not disappoint. The fight was entertaining and went 10 rounds. Ultimately, Mayweather won and improved his record to 50-0. As for McGregor, he earned respect from his critics, lasting much longer than most people thought he would.
The spectacle bought a ton of A-list celebrities to Las Vegas. From Leonardo DiCaprio to Jennifer Lopez to Chris Hemsworth to Sean “Diddy” Combs, there was no shortage of stars who packed the T-Mobile Arena to see the match in person. When it was all over, some of those celebs, as well as many others, flocked to social media to share their reactions about the historic fight. Here are some of the best celebrity posts.
1. Kevin Hart proved he’s hilarious all the time

Kevin Hart opted to watch the match with some of his friends including NBA star Chris Paul, who was amused with the comedian’s reaction during the final seconds of the fight.
Once the match concluded, and Hart was able to calm down, he posted a congratulatory message to Mayweather for the victory and a successful career.
2. Devon Sawa jokes about his canceled plans

Devon Sawa was Team McGregor and even though his pick lost, the actor posted about how the Irishman still made his fans very proud. He then joked that the result of the fight left him with a little more free time.
3. Snoop Dogg is a fan of memes

Snoop Dogg took to Instagram with a video giving his thoughts on the fight after it was over. The rapper called it a “great” match and gave both men props. He also tweeted out a Mayweather meme with the text,”Yall want me to fight an MMA fighter who never boxed!!?? Ha ha dis finna be a breeze!!!”
As we know, it wasn’t a breeze.
4. Carrot Top had the right props ready
Carrot Top hopped on social media following the match and used a makeshift hat in a video, poking fun at McGregor over the loss.
The comedian appeared to be having a good time all week leading up to the big event, as he posted quite a few jokes about the fight on his Instagram account.
5. Josh Gad served up a few laughs
Mayweather is not letting McGregor's Expendables chest tattoo distract him. That's got to count for something.

Josh Gad also cracked some jokes on fight night.
One of his jokes was about U2 frontman Bono, who had to bail on singing Ireland’s national anthem because he had a wedding. He also poked fun at the tattoo McGregor has across his chest.
6. Snooki wondered if the fight was a reality show

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi of Jersey Shore fame wasn’t sure if the fight was even real, and she wasn’t the only one to question it either.
Actor Chord Overstreet tweeted that it didn’t seem like a legit match to him either and likened it to the WWE.
7. Diddy voiced his frustrations

Diddy echoed what a lot of people thought about the fight possibly being stopped a little too early and posted a video to Instagram voicing his opinion about that after the match.
Even McGregor agreed. The UFC star said he thought the referee should have let the fight continue instead of stopping it just because he was fatigued in the 10th round.
