Beyoncé Pregnancy Style: 10 Most Amazing Outfits

Beyoncé has always had an incredible sense of style. And she’s never been afraid to show off her figure or her unique taste in clothing. From her jaw-dropping, record-breaking pregnancy announcements to her never-ending line up of gorgeous maternity outfits, Bey’s style has been especially on point when she’s expecting. And in doing so, she’s basically set the bar for pregnancy style.

Here are 10 of Beyoncé’s most amazing pregnancy outfits.

1. 2011 MTV Music Video Awards

Beyoncé stunned fans when she showed off her baby bump at the 2011 MTV Music Video Awards. Most of us remember the fitted tuxedo and sparkly cummerbund that she wore when she danced on stage that evening. That’s because it was a fun and fancy way of announcing her exciting secret to the world.

But the gown she wore prior to the show was every bit as memorable. The orange, one-shoulder dress by Levin wrapped around her belly, which she proudly hugged on the red carpet. Her romantic side ponytail and diamond jewelry helped make her look like a positively radiant mother-to-be.

2. Pretty in purple

Anyone who’s been pregnant knows that it’s hard to look, let alone feel comfortable when your stomach is the size of a house. But Beyoncé has somehow managed to make maternity look both effortless and incredibly relaxed. She posted this photo of herself in a purple, long-sleeved, full-length dress, to her Instagram account in April 2017. And in doing so, she set the bar for all future candid maternity photos ever taken.

The plunging neckline adds a sexy touch to the form-fitting gown. Her hair, loose around her shoulders and slightly curled, gives the entire look a feeling that’s equal parts casual and completely put together.

3. Comfortable and stylish

Enjoying a night out is hard enough when you’re a parent. But when you’re expecting twins, it’s likely a huge ordeal. That’s probably why Beyoncé opted for an exceedingly comfortable outfit when she and her husband, Jay Z, took their daughter, Blue Ivy, to the NBA All Star Game in March 2017.

Beyoncé wore loose-fitting ripped jeans and a white t-shirt to the event. But she added a bit of flair to the otherwise basic get up by wrapping herself in a floral Gucci kimono. The $22,000 silk wrap looks almost impossibly cozy and stylish. And it gave her a chance to keep her growing belly away from the scrutiny of spectators.

4. Hot mama-to-be

No one would ever accuse Beyoncé of having a dull fashion sense. And her sense of style has never faltered, even when she’s pregnant. In March 2017, the singer posted this stunning set of four photos on Instagram. They serve as a reminder that yes, even maternity wear can be hot.

The tight black dress gives off a bit of a ’90s feel with the choker necklace. And there’s no question that the short dress flatters her curves and her pregnant belly. Her handbag and thigh-high black heeled boots act as the perfect accessories to an already bold fashion statement.

5. Easter Sunday best

For parents that celebrate it, Easter is a big and often incredibly busy holiday. In April 2017, Beyoncé and her daughter, Blue Ivy, looked like they were more than ready to mark the occasion. The singer managed to look both elegant and laid-back in a series of photos she shared on Instagram.

Bey donned an off-the-shoulder white dress with ruffled sleeves. And to make sure she stayed comfortable, she sported a pair of chunky gold and pink Prada sandals. Maybe the coolest part of the whole outfit was her gold-tinted, Lennon-esque shades, though. Or maybe it was how much fun she looked to be having with her friends and family.

6. Earthy goddess

Beyoncé has proven time and again that she’s not afraid to add a little splash of color to her wardrobe. And that was definitely the case with the bright green gown she wore in a series of Instagram photos from March 2017. The pleated skirt and boho sleeves give the dress a down-to-earth feel — and it also looks crazy comfortable.

The dress’s plunging neckline, accented by silver floral accents, definitely draws attention. But it also helps to accent Bey’s gorgeous baby belly. All in all, the splash of color and flowing fabric combine to offer a trendy welcome to both spring and motherhood.

7. Fashion forward

Most pregnant women have a hard enough time just putting on shoes in general. Beyoncé, on the other hand, seems to have absolutely no problem slipping into stilettos, even when she’s carrying twins.

But even without the killer, open-heel cream-colored boots, Bey would still look flawlessly chic in this Instagram photo from April 2017. That’s mostly thanks to the flawless, head-to-toe color coordination. The oversized sleeves, which blend in with the dress’ shorter hemline, add a funky element to the layered look. And the rounded sunglasses make her look especially laid-back, even as a mom-to-be of twins.

8. Oscar glamour

There’s something to be said for knowing your audience. And Beyoncé likely had hers in mind when she chose to wear this teal dress to Harvey Weinstein’s pre-Oscars party in March 2017. The gown looks effortlessly elegant, and the scoop neckline is reminiscent of old-time Hollywood glamour.

Though it’s surprisingly simple in its design, the dress hugged her body perfectly. The Coomi necklace and bracelets added a quiet flare. And with its deep, dark, understated hue, the surprisingly affordable Nicole Miller dress was eye-catching without being over-the-top.

9. Grammy gold

All eyes were on Beyoncé at the 2017 Grammy Awards. And not just because she picked up two of the evening’s most prestigious awards. The singer looked like an absolute goddess when she took the stage to accept her trophies. She wore a beaded, gold, fitted gown with a trailing hemline and a matching veil.

The dress, designed by Peter Dundas, was hand-embroidered. And according to the designer, the bead work included detailing that resembled Bey’s face. All told, the entire Grammy look felt like a tribute to the singer’s impending motherhood, and to strong women in general. And that made it not just one of her best pregnancy looks, but one of her most unforgettable fashion statements of all time.

10. A total winner

On Grammy night 2017, Beyoncé wore a much different outfit off stage than the flowing, bohemian number she donned to collect her awards. During a post-ceremony photo call, she donned a red sequined, long-sleeve Peter Dundas gown. The dress was eye-catching and glamorous, and while other celebrities sometimes try to mask their baby bumps for major red carpet events, Bey made sure hers was front and center.

Beyoncé looked positively stunning in the form-fitting, floor-length dress. And the diamond necklace that dangled into the middle of the revealing square neckline offered a daring finishing touch. The two trophies she took home that night for her album, Lemonade, were pretty awesome accessories, too.
