Who won the Veto Competition on ‘Big Brother 21’ Episode 16?

Holly chose Jack as the Veto Competition host, and he had to wear a dress and bonnet, carrying a shepherd’s crook. For the competition, the participating houseguests had to herd sheep wearing numbers into a gate that totaled up to the target number. The campers went head-to-head in five elimination rounds until the last person standing won the Power of Veto.

Sam, Nick, Holly, Cliff, Jessica, and Tommy all competed in the event. Nick went against Jessica, and their target number was seven. Jessica just stood at the gate and made kissy noises at the sheep, expecting them to follow her. However, nominee Nick chased the sheep around, grabbed them, and then placed them into the gate beating the plus-sized model.

Holly and Sam battled each other next, and their sheep had to equal the number eight. Sam tried going for the smaller sheep; however, they still outran him. On the other hand, Holly, a safari guide, works with animals every day and easily beat the truck driver.

Tommy and Cliff were up next, and their target number was nine. Cliff got the first sheep, a four, and Tommy collected the next sheep, a six. Tommy retrieved his last one faster, eliminating Cliff. Then, Holly faced off against her primary target, Nick. She didn’t do as well this round, and he established a useful technique that seemed to work for him, winning the round.

Finally, it came down to Nick vs. Tommy in the finals. Nick started at a fast pace but got winded, allowing the Broadway dancer to catch up. In the live feeds, Tommy was disqualified; however, it did not air during the episode on television. Nonetheless, Jack announced Nick as the winner of the competition.

Holly pondered who to nominate in place of Nick

Because Nick won the Power of Veto, of course, he will use it on himself. Therefore, Holly must choose a replacement nominee. Before the Veto Competition, Kathyrn volunteered to be a pawn for Holly so she wouldn’t get new blood on her hands and the houseguests wouldn’t know they have a final two pact together.

Holly initially agreed; however, she began to think about nominating Nicole because she doesn’t trust her. Sam, desperate to find a target bigger than himself to sit next to, talked to Holly privately. They both admitted they never had a problem with each other, and the Head of Household considered keeping Sam and getting rid of Nicole to take shots at threats in her alliance.

Holly then explained her idea to Christie and Tommy, who advised her to stick to the plan and take out the truck driver. Christie became paranoid like usual and began thinking everything was a massive scheme to evict her.

Holly and Analyse at odds in ‘Big Brother’ 21 Episode 16

Analyse was upset with Michie when Holly won Head of Household because she didn’t appreciate how he advised Holly to compete for the title instead of giving it to Analyse. She felt like he should have been happy for anyone in Six Shooters to win. Analyse also believes because they are in showmance that Holly’s Head of Household is Michie’s HoH as well.

After Holly told her idea to Christie she repeated it to Analyse. The Staten Island native thought Michie and Holly had a deal with Nick and Sam to keep them both in the house to come after the other Six Shooter members. Analyse relayed Christie’s concerns to Holly, Michie, and Jack, and the safari guide confronted the Staten Island native and Broadway dancer.

Christie denied the theories she told Analyse, and Holly began thinking Analyse was attempting to split up the Six Shooters. Ultimately, Holly selected Kathyrn, who pretended to be upset, as a nominee, and stuck to her alliance who wants Sam out the house.
