‘Big Brother 21’: Will There Be Any Returning Vets?

Big Brother is back for Season 21. Julie Chen is returning to host and
Jeff Schroeder from Season 11 will conduct the interviews with houseguests that have been evicted throughout the season.

The show has been known to have twists that bring houseguests from previous seasons back. Will there be any returning vets this season? Here is everything you need to know.

The new cast has been revealed and it’s full of new houseguests

The cast was revealed on June 7. Everyone that has been announced is new and the bios are interesting. One player who seems to be a fierce competitor is Isabella Wang.

The public health analyst got noticed by fans because she listed herself as her favorite houseguest. Many reacted to that hoping that means she’ll bring it for the new season.

The other cast members include Analyse Talavera, Christie Murphy, Cliff Hogg III, David Alexander, Holly Allen, Jack Matthews, Jackson Michie, Jessica Milagros, Kathyrn Dunn, Kemi Faknule, Nick Maccarone, Nicole Anthony, Ovi Kabir, Sam Smith, and Tommy Bracco.

Other fans noticed that the cast is more diverse than the previous seasons. Some started picking their favorites ahead of the premiere based on their interviews. Many also noticed that there aren’t any vets in the lineup.

Fans were rooting for some previous stars to return

People don’t stop rooting for the stars just because their season ended. Before the new cast was announced, people were putting in their votes for who should come back.

There was even a rumor that there would be a special “duos” season bringing back popular couples to compete. That led to theories that
Jessica Graf and Cody Nickson from Season 19, Bayleigh Dayton and Chris “Swaggy C” Williams from Season 20 would be included.

Of course, there were many who didn’t want any vets to come back for different reasons. Someone has since come forward giving their theory on who won’t be able to come back for an interesting reason.

Some previous houseguests reportedly aren’t sequestered to come back

Big Brother previously brought Paul Abrahamian from Season 18 back for Season 19. He made it all the way to the finale the second time around but still lost. Fans were wondering if past houseguests would return as a twist or if it would be an all-star season because of this.

A sign fans typically look for is if any of the previous houseguests are silent on social media. That could mean they are sequestered because they will appear in the upcoming season.

Andy Herren, who won Season 15 of Big Brother, tweeted that some of the hardest players are active on social media before the cast announcement.

The cast is all new, but this might also show they won’t be part of any “twists” bringing someone back either. Others are still holding onto the theory that someone is coming back.

Fans will have to wait to find out what will happen. The new season premieres on Tuesday, June 25 at 8/7c on CBS.
