Christmas Abbott won Head of Household for ‘Big Brother 22’ Week 5

The houseguests went head-to-head for the most important Head of Household title so far of the season. In the competition, the players had to face off against each other in a trivia-based game.

The winner of the match then selected the next set of houseguests to square up. Cody Calafiore and Da’Vonne Rogers were picked several times, whereas no one chose Tyler Crispen or Christmas Abbott.

After answering multiple questions correctly, Da’Vonne advanced to the final round against Christmas. The three-time competitor answered incorrectly, automatically giving the BB19 finalist the victory.

Additionally, Nicole Franzel immediately ran over to Christmas and hugged her after winning, upsetting Da’Vonne, who already felt like everyone didn’t want her or Bayleigh Dayton to win.

Christmas Abbott presented with Tyler Crispen backdoor plan

Bayleigh and Da’Vonne both heard from two different people, Ian Terry and Tyler Crispen, that Dani Donato Briones and Nicole wanted them out of the house before the Head of Household competition.

After getting caught, Ian backpedaled and blamed the miscommunication on recently evicted Kaysar Ridha. Therefore, Da’Vonne revealed Tyler as her source. Dani claimed the BB20 runner-up also told her that Da’Vonne and Bayleigh were coming after her and Nicole.

The ladies ended up bonding over their new desire to get Tyler out as they blamed him for pitting them against each other, even though Dani and Nicole did voice their urge to evict either Da’Vonne or Bayleigh pre-jury.

They approached Christmas with the information and encouraged her to backdoor Tyler, not knowing Christmas’ loyalty toward the BB20 runner-up due to The Commission. However, the HOH encouraged her nominees, Bayleigh and Da’Vonne, to win the Power of Veto so she could nominate someone “more deserving.”

Nicole Franzel and Bayleigh Dayton received punishments from POV competition

Christmas, Bayleigh, Da’Vonne, Ian, Nicole, and Cody all faced-off for the POV. Da’Vonne apparently false-started and lost the game first but ended up with a $5,000 prize, thanks to Nicole, who received a “Sloppies” gaudy costume in return.

Bayleigh also went out of the competition early due to a false-start and got the “Tri-Athlete” punishment, where she had to complete 500 laps on a tricycle in 12 hours.

If she didn’t, then the BB20 star couldn’t compete in the next POV competition, even if she became HOH or a nominee. However, Bayleigh finished in half the time with the encouragement of several of her houseguests.

Christmas won the POV and will likely keep her nominations the same, even though she doesn’t want to see another girl go home. Big Brother 22: All-Stars airs Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
