‘Big Brother’: Are Tyler Crispen and Angela Rummans Still Together?
Showmances are as old as reality television. Even before the days of Big Brother, people were still getting together on camera. Anytime you put a bunch of single people in a secluded house for any amount of time, you are bound to get more than a few hookups. Unfortunately for those people who really get their feelings invested in these relationships, they typically don’t last out in the real world.
Big Brother has a slightly higher rate of showmances working in the real world than some other reality shows. Some people even go on to get married.
Tyler Crispen and Angela Rummans became a fan favorite couple on season 20 of the show. But now that some time has passed since their season, are the two still together?
Tyler Crispen and Angela Rummans’ relationship
Crispen and Rummans coupled up pretty quickly after entering the Big Brother house.
Crispen admitted to Ben Higgens on the new Facebook Watch series, Back to Reality that he was scared when he finally got to the house and saw Rummans because she was “perfect.”
Before going into the house, Crispen had no plans to be in a showmance because he had “years of strategy built up” in his mind already. But soon, it was clear that ‘Tangela” was not something he could fight.
“I think it had gotten down to Final 7, and this was after we had started getting super close and there’s enough people out of the house where we can actually have time to ourselves,” he said. “Angela and I, downstairs in the blue room, slept in separate beds but we pushed them close to each other in case we needed to dip away and separate when somebody walked in.”
“We had been doing this for a few nights in a row, and a few nights ago, she told me she had a secret to tell me,” he continued. “It was bothering me because I hate secrets. So I asked her, like, 40 times a day and we’re about to go to bed.”
“She leaned over, stalls for a while and then says she’s in love with me. My first reaction is pure shock. We tried to hide our microphones… but Big Brother always hears. I didn’t know what to say at first other than it was mutual and I couldn’t even express that it was mutual. I didn’t know what to say.”
“I was like, ‘Really? Are you serious?’ And she was like, ‘You knew!’ And I was like, ‘I did not know! I swear I did not know.’ And then I told her that I was in love with her too, and now here we are,” he said.
How is Tyler Crispen and Angela Rummans’ relationship now?
Crispen and Rummans are still going strong!
“You want to make the relationship work because of that fanbase, but… it’s the real deal,” Crispen said.
“No one actually knows how weird we are when we are just by ourselves. They know how it started, but it’s been a year outside of the house, and we’re weird, and it’s awesome… It’s a dream come true.”
And now, they are even leaving L.A. together and moving to Hilton Head, South Carolina.
“HUGE NEWS! Bye bye LA, we moved… far! Crispen captioned a picture on Instagram. “After one of the craziest months of all time, we’re excited to finally share that we’ve moved to the place that brought us together in the first place.”
