‘Big Brother’: Jackson Michie Continues to Hold Out Hope for Chance at All-Star Season or ‘The Challenge’
Big Brother fans still do not know the cast for Season 22 of the show that will soon air this summer. However, rumors have convinced fans that it will be an All-Star season, which has only been done one other time in the show’s history. Big Brother 21 winner Jackson Michie recently addressed a fan who said they wanted him to come back this season so that he can be a back-to-back winner.
Well now, Michie has continued to address the potential all-star season, as well as the possibility of joining other Big Brother alum on The Challenge.
Jackson Michie has expressed interest in ‘The Challenge’ and ‘Big Brother 22’ in the past
A big reason Michie won Big Brother 21 was his challenge winning steak, as he ultimately became a comp beast. Because of his desire to compete, Michie has shown interest in joining other Big Brother alum on The Challenge, as well as joining an all-star cast for Big Brother 22.
While Michie was filming Big Brother 21 last summer, he expressed interest in going on The Challenge because of his love for competition.
Then on one of his recent Instagram posts, in light of the all-star rumors for Season 22 of Big Brother, a fan commented, “Please come back for 22 and be the first back to back [winner].” The reigning Big Brother winner replied, “I wish!” with a laughing emoji.
He continues to hold out hope for a chance at ‘Big Brother 22’ or ‘The Challenge’
In a July 23 Instagram post, Michie posted pictures with Big Brother 20 star Brett Robinson. His caption read, “us waiting on the call for All-Stars vs. my reaction when I get told to kick rocks.”
One Instagram user commented on his post saying, “If y’all get chosen to be all stars that will officially be my favorite season.” Michie replied by saying, “I hope we do.” Another user commented and said, “Boycotting BB if you and Brett aren’t on there!” and Michie responded by saying, “this is the attitude we NEED!”
Additionally, Big Brother 20 star Faysal “Fessy” Shafaat, who has also starred on The Challenge, commented on the post. He said, “Come over to the dark side,” meaning The Challenge. Michie, in return, said, “I’m not saying no.”
Big Brother 19 winner, Josh Martinez, who is also on The Challenge, also commented on Michie’s post. He said, “The Challenge is waiting Buddy.” Michie said, “put me in coach.”
It is unclear if The Challenge or Big Brother have any interest in bringing Michie on for upcoming seasons. Michie’s interest, however, certainly seems to be there.
Jackson Michie and Holly Allen recently broke up
Michie dated his showmance from Big Brother 21, Holly Allen, for nearly a year. After the show, the two moved into a LA apartment together, and they spent the holidays with each other’s families.
In March, Michie and Allen quarantined together and later even adopted a rescue dog in which they named Sahara. However, weeks later, Allen visited family in Wyoming while Michie visited his parents in Nashville. This ultimately sparked break-up rumors.
Last week, the two officially announced that they had broken up.
“Sometimes priorities don’t line up. And that’s ok. This past year has been the hardest to date and has taught me about sense of self, security in who I am, and what I want for my future,” Allen posted on Instagram. “I know that I’m proud of myself, my accomplishments, and my roots. I know the spirit and the inspiration that I look for in people I surround myself with. I know what I deserve. And I’m excited for this new chapter and where it will lead me. Right now, I’m hurting. But hey, pain is only temporary. Thank you all for going through the ups and downs with me!”
In Michie’s post, he said that through the ups and downs of the past year, “there has been one constant through it all and that‘s the amazing woman standing next to me.” He also said that “sadly” life will be taking them in different directions.
