‘BIP’: Did John Paul Jones Really Move to Be with Tayshia Adams Before Their Breakup?
Adams announced that they’re no longer together. Now she is giving what she claims to be the real reason behind his move. Here is everything she had to say and more.
Tayshia Adams and John Paul Jones broke up
The reality stars ended Bachelor in Paradise by dating. However, they are one of many couples that have broken up.
Adams posted a picture of them together on Instagram. She then gave a reason why their relationship didn’t work in the caption.
“When the show ended, I truly went back to Maryland to see if what we had was something we could build on without cameras, a production crew, and without feeling any pressure: to simply figure things out on our own terms. But the reality was, we were living on opposite coasts, and working insane schedules that made it impossible to see each other and build a life with each other,” she wrote.
Fans questioned the announcement given Jones moved
Jones reportedly moved to Los Angeles after the show. This made the claim that they broke up due to distance questionable to some fans.
“Tayshia is only an hour and a half away so that was a big draw and to my surprise, a talent agent reached out to me and they’ve been consistently getting me auditions and I’m waiting to hear back [on projects],” Jones told Us Weekly.
He then said, “Tayshia is definitely excited. It reduces a lot of the hassle that came with buying a plane ticket and visiting her for a weekend. It was really difficult [being long-distance].”
She said he moved to be an actor
Adams opened up about their breakup with Rachel Lindsay on Bachelor Happy Hour, according to People. She claimed he didn’t move to Los Angeles to be with her.
“He moved here because he wanted to be an actor,” she said. “And because he was getting auditions and it was just easier for him to attend those as opposed to flying out. That’s why he moved here.”
Adams went on to say, “And he knew that story since the very beginning, so now people are like ‘Well, Tayshia, he just uprooted his entire life for you.’” She talked about understanding why this would be a reason for him to move.
“I will say, coming off the show, your entire world is kind of flipped upside down, and you have so many opportunities and so many invites to all these great places in L.A., because everything happens here,” she said. “And I’m sure being a guy coming from the show, you have all this newfound notoriety and attention of course it’s fun and it’s shiny and exciting. So definitely I could see why he would move. Especially if he wants to be an actor to come to this area, because that’s where it’s all happening.”
Jones wouldn’t be the first contestant to move to Los Angeles after the show, or to try acting. Only time will tell what will change after his move.
