Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour were popular among Bachelor fans prior to their engagement on the most recent season of Bachelor In Paradise. Godwin was a front-runner on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor and Barbour was one-of-the-guys on Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette. Fans loved them.
But now that the two are engaged, their popularity has skyrocketed. Bachelor Nation is obsessed with the reality couple’s relationship, frequently filling their respective social media pages with hyperbolic compliments and questions about when they’ll get married.
The sudden rise in popularity is why some BIP couples get accused of faking their relationships. It’s an unmistakeable correlation–being in a relationship with another member of Bachelor Nation and gaining more followers.
Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour are really in love
But it’s safe to say that Godwin and Barbour are the real deal.
In an interview with Glamour, Godwin spoke about first experiencing feelings of love for Barbour when Jordan Kimball asked her out on a date.
“As soon as I said yes [to Jordan], the first thing I thought was Dylan. I was like, Oh, my gosh! This dude. I swear in my head I was like, I love him. Literally, it was so strong,” she told the publication.
In an interview with Extra, Barbour said he knew Godwin was the one from their first conversation.
“I think it was our first conversation. I thought she was gonna be someone else and I was hesitant. I talked to other people when I got to the beach. I talked to everyone for like five minutes and I was like ‘I’m not gonna be laser-focused.’ And then I talked to her and it was over for me from that point. She just completely caught me off guard. I think a lot of people don’t know just how funny she is and how sweet and caring she is about everybody around her. Yeah, I was just all-in from the second I met her,” he said.
In both interviews, Godwin and Barbour are visibly and reportedly, for lack of better terms, all over each other. Their love is palpable.
‘Bachelor In Paradise’ fans want a show starring Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour
Recently, particularly on Barbour’s Instagram page, fans have been making it known how much they’d like for Godwin and Barbour to get their own show.
“Make your own show please!!!” exclaimed one fan on a recent post of Barbour’s.
Apparantly, Barbour is down. He responded by tagging @abcnetwork.
“yes, agree!” chimed in another fan.
On the same post, another fan wrote: “You guys really need your own show!”
Again, Barbour tagged @abcnetwork and wrote “well?”
And if the couple doesn’t end up on TV again any time soon, it looks like fans think a YouTube channel would suffice.
“can you guys PLEASEEE make a youtube channel,” wrote another fan.
“should we actually,” responded Barbour.
To which another fan replied: “YESS we need more of you two.”
The people have spoken. Bachelor Nation craves more of Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour.
