‘BIP’: How Hannah Godwin And Dylan Barbour Are Making Their Long-Distance Engagement Work–The Trick’s In How They Argue
Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour got engaged after just a couple months of being together at the end of the most recent season of Bachelor In Paradise. Today, they’re still together and, seemingly, very happy.
The secrets to Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour’s successful long-distance relationship
As of now, they’re still in a long-distance relationship. Godwin lives in Los Angeles and Barbour lives in San Diego. On a recent episode of Entertainment Tonight’s “Roses and Rose,” Barbour revealed that the couple sees each other three to four times a week, even though they live about three hours away from each other. He says the trick to their relationship is keeping each other a priority.
“I think we just place our relationship above everything else. We make an effort to see each other probably three to four times a week and talk every day non-stop,” he said.
Another reason their relationship is still so strong, says Godwin, is that the couple makes a point to never go to bed angry at each other.
“We never go to sleep like angry or mad. It’s just like always putting it out on the table even if it doesn’t sound great, just like how we feel. I feel like that’s been good,” said Godwin.
When asked who needs to have the “last word” when the couple disagrees, Godwin looked at Barbour and said: “I think you probably want it.”
“I think you probably want it,” Barbour laughed. “You get it.”
The couple revealed that they don’t “fight” very often.
“It’s more like joking. Like I feel like if we’ve ever had a disagreement we end up laughing at the end of it just because we’re like ‘this is going nowhere,'” said Godwin.
“We just talk through it,” said Barbour.
“It’s just the most unedited way coming out of our mouths. It’s like whatever we have just putting it out there,” Godwin added.
Dylan Barbour is ‘very, very thoughtful’ and still all-over Hannah Godwin
Another factor that keeps Godwin and Barbour’s relationship strong? Godwin says Barbour is “very, very thoughtful.” In fact, she says it’s one of the sexiest things about him.
“Is that sexy?” asked Barbour.
“Yeah,” Godwin told him.
Bachelor Nation probably remembers Godwin and Barbour as one of the more PDA-heavy couples in Mexico this past summer. According to Barbour, he hasn’t let up on the PDA at all.
“I love PDA,” he admits. “It’s not the fact that it’s PDA–I just, I’m in my own little world.”
Barbour says he hasn’t always been so touchy; it’s just Hannah.
“I’m just as all-over her and in love with her as I was,” he said.
