What is the official synopsis for ‘Birds of Prey’

Birds of Prey takes places after the events that happened in Suicide Squad, after Harley Quinn has left the Joker.

The synopsis reads, “You ever hear the one about the cop, the songbird, the psycho and the mafia princess? Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is a twisted tale told by Harley herself, as only Harley can tell it, When Gotham’s most nefariously narcissistic villain, Roman Sionis, and his zealous right-hand, Zsasz, put a target on a young girl named Cass, the city is turned upside down looking for her. Harley, Huntress, Black Canary and Renee Montoya’s paths collide, and the unlikely foursome have no choice but to team up to take Roman down.”

When will Margot Robbie play Harley Quinn after ‘Birds of Prey’?

Birds of Prey isn’t even out yet and Robbie is already hard at work on her next film as Quinn. Filming is currently underway in Atlanta for The Suicide Squad, the sequel to 2016’s Suicide Squad. It will be released in August 2021. Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman, and Jai Courtney reprise their roles as Amanda Waller, Rick Flagg, and Captain Boomerang.

Franchise newcomers include Idris Elba and Storm Reid in undisclosed roles, as well as Daniela Melchior as Rat Catcher and David Dastmalchian as Polka-Dot Man.

Until then, you can catch Birds of Prey in theaters on February 7, 2020.
