Even though we’re on the outskirts, we can only imagine how challenging it can be to navigate the world in the public eye. Thankfully, some celebrities are able to defy Hollywood’s stereotypes and find real friendships within their A-list circles.
One of the lastest and most iconic Hollywood BFF pairings is BLACKPINK songstress Rosé and “Without Me” singer Halsey. In fact, their BFF bond makes us love them both even more.
Who is BLACKPINK’s Rosé?
We’re going to take a wild guess and assume that you already know who Halsey is. After all, she sang the most stunning rendition of “Time After Time” during the 2019 Emmys In Memoriam. However, if you’re a K-Pop fan or just a fan of amazing music, then you should definitely have BLACKPINK lead-vocalist, Rosé, on your radar.
The girl band is made up of Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rosé, All of the ladies have stolen our hearts, but we have ann extra special soft spot for Rosé. The singer reportedly has a solo project coming out soon.
Rosé’s given name is Roseanne Park Chae-young and she was born in Auckland, New Zealand but raised in Melbourne, Australia. According to South China Morning Post, YG Entertainment discovered her when she was 15 and she joined BLACKPINK four years later.
How did Rosé and Halsey meet?
Halsey loves K-Pop and she is close friends with the mega boyband BTS. The songstress was also on Rosé’s radar because the “Golden voice” songstress shared a cover of Halsey’s “Eyes Closed” with her fans back in February 2019. She said of the cover, “This is such a deep song. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did singing it.”
Recently during Paris Fashion Week, the ladies were able to link up and spend some much-needed girl time together.
Rosé and Halsey’s epic night out in Paris
Rosé made her Paris Fashion Week debut at Saint Laurent’s Spring/Summer 2020 show, but she also made time to hang out with the “Die For Me” singer in the city of love. The ladies’ night out involved bathroom selfies (because of course, it did) as well as some snaps with the Effiel Tower.
Rosé captioned her beautiful series of photos saying, “Dining with unexpected friends in paris. Thank u for the lovely dinner @iamhalsey ” She also added a kissing face emoji. Halsey also shared a series of photos with Rosé on her Instagram page, she captioned her photos in French saying, “la vie est meilleure en rose @roses_are_rosie.” That translates to “life is better in pink.” How adorable is that?
When will Rosé and Halsey hang out again?
With their hectic schedules, we’re not sure when Rosé and Halsey will be able to catch up again in person, but when they do — we’re sure it will be an epic time. After all, both ladies are bubbly and fun. Also, if Halsey adores food as much as Rosé then they are the perfect BFF match.
