Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani Step Out With Her Boys Amid News She Is ‘Struggling’ To Co-Parent With Gavin Rossdale
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani enjoyed a day with the kiddos at Knott’s Berry Farm last weekend. The couple brought Stefani’s three children, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo, along for outing and appeared to have a blast at the park. While the family clearly enjoyed themselves, the public appearance comes amid rumors that Stefani is struggling to co-parent with her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale.
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton celebrate Kingston’s birthday
Shelton and Stefani took the kids to Knott’s Barry Farm in celebration of Kingston’s 13 birthday. According to Daily Mail, Gwen rocked a khaki colored rain jacket for the outing while Shelton appeared in his usual baseball hat and blue jeans. The pair went on several rides with their children and did not seem to have a care in the world.
In fact, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani shared a few special moments together and were even caught holding hands as they made their way through the park.
Stefani shares all three of her children with her ex-husband, Rossdale. The two were married for 13 years before calling it quits in 2015. Shelton has also been married before but has no children of his own. The country star’s most recent marriage was to Miranda Lambert, which ended four years ago. While Shelton may not have children of his own, he has proven himself a great stepdad over the past few years.
Stefani leans on Shelton
Although Stefani’s relationship with Blake Shelton is going great, inside sources claim that she is struggling to co-parent with Rossdale. Sources say that Stefani and Rossdale do not agree on how to raise their children and that she has turned to Shelton for support.
The insider also claims that Stefani and Rossdale have almost stopped talking altogether and only speak to each other when absolutely necessary. This has made it difficult to co-parent, especially given how Rossdale spends a good chunk of his time overseas.
The lack of communication has led Stefani to make decisions about her children all by herself. Fortunately, she has Blake Shelton at her side for support. The Voice star has reportedly been picking up the slack, helping take the kiddos to school and other activities.
Stefani is reportedly frustrated by Rossdale’s behavior, but it is good to know that Shelton is doing everything in his power to help her out. He’s doing so much that Stefani does not know how she would live without him.
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani pack on the PDA
When they aren’t enjoying an afternoon at a local theme park, Shelton and Stefani spend as much quality time together as possible. They are also never afraid to show a little affection in public. Days after their outing at the park, the couple enjoyed a few special moments at a Luke Bryan concert.
They even shared an adorable video after the event that showed them slipping in a quick kiss. Stefani may be struggling to raise her children with Rossdale, but she clearly has found lasting love.
Stefani to rejoin The Voice
Apart from her personal life, Stefani is reclaiming her seat next to Blake Shelton and will replace Adam Levine on The Voice next season. Levine recently announced that he is leaving the hit singing competition after the current season.
Levine has been a part of the series since the very beginning and his exit came as a shock to most fans. NBC later confirmed that Stefani will be rejoining the show. Stefani was a part of the series in Seasons 7, 9, and 12, and has long been rumored to be returning.
Shelton also released a statement related to Levine’s exit. The country singer admitted that it will be difficult watching Levine go after working alongside him for more than a decade. Kelly Clarkson also shared some thoughts on the news and confessed that it will be strange filming without the Maroon 5 frontman on set. Although it is sad to see Levine go, it will be nice to watch Stefani and Shelton reunite in front of the cameras after several years apart.
“Having a hard time wrapping my head around @adamlevine not being at @NBCTheVoice anymore. After 16 seasons that changed both of our lives,” Blake Shelton shared. “I only found out about this yesterday and it hasn’t set in on me yet. Gonna miss working with that idiot.”
