Episode 1 of Season 10 is significant because this marks the 200th episode of the show. Donnie Wahlberg commemorated filming the 200th dinner by posting a message for his fans on Instagram. “Shooting Family Dinner Scene number 200 today on the set of @bluebloods_cbs! Hard to believe we’ve been doing this for 10 seasons!” he wrote.
Jamie and Eddie will start looking for a new apartment
The 200th episode will be titled “The Real Deal.” In this episode, Jamie and Eddie will start their new life together by looking for a new place to call home. Since part of this episode will show the newlyweds apartment hunting, it doesn’t look like fans will get to see the rest of Eddie and Jamie’s wedding.
Danny and Baez face a challenge
Danny and Baez will face a challenging case at work. According to a CBS statement, they will be faced a year-old homicide investigation that was placed on their radar by Maggie (Callie Thorne). She’s the medium who helped them solve a case.
Frank tries to help Lenny
In addition, there’s more drama after the daughter of Frank’s ex-partner Lenny Ross (Treat Williams) is arrested. Part of the show will focus on Frank’s attempt to help Lenny and his daughter. And finally, Erin will come head-to-head against a fierce defense attorney from her past.
Fans react to the announcement of Blue Bloods Season 10
Fans are excited about the return of Blue Bloods. There were plenty of Twitter messages praising the show and cast. “Donnie and cast of Blue Bloods, we want you to know your show is much more than just a “cop” show, it’s the only show that has any family values! it’s the only show we as a family can watch and enjoy!! Never change!! and please never go off TV! Our society needs you!” said a Blue Bloods fan on Twitter.
Some fans are still angry that Season 9 didn’t focus more on Jamie and Eddie’s wedding. Many took to social media to express their disappointment. “Please use the season 10 premiere and landmark 200th episode to fix the huge mess you made of the season 9 finale. A large part of your audience still feels conned, let down, and lied to. No more bait and switch, otherwise you’ll lose us for good. Make it right,” wrote one Twitter user.
