The Nov. 8 episode will show her revisiting a case. Find out why fans are tweeting about a character making a big return in the episode and more.
Erin and Jack used to be married
Erin and Jack (Peter Hermann) used to be married and are the parents of Nicky. Fans have mostly seen Erin be a single mother after their divorce.
We found out one reason why things didn’t work out between them in the episode, “Ripple Effect.” “We got along great when we were both in the D.A.’s office,” Erin told Eddie (Vanessa Ray.) “We couldn’t get enough of each other. But then when he became a defense attorney we never saw each other and it just went south from there.”
Jack also accused her of having a problem with him because of how she was raised. “The only woman I tried to make points with is you,” Jack told her. “But it is impossible to live up to your expectations. And that’s the Reagan way, you raise the bar so high that absolutely nobody can live up to it.”
There was also a time when Jack and Erin were spending time together again secretly. However, he didn’t seem ready for commitment beyond that and it ended.
Things ended on good terms between the two
Jack and Erin argued because he didn’t tell her the case he needed help with involved his ex-girlfriend. They still ended on good terms with him apologizing when they meet again at the end of his last episode.
Chances are if he pops up again it could be for another case. Erin would also be there to help him once again.
Fans are tweeting about Jack’s return
A fan Twitter account, Thoughts on Jamko, tweeted a description from a rumored press release about the upcoming episode. The description claims that Jack will be back in the episode “Higher Standards.”
It reads, “Jamie (Will Estes) and Frank (Tom Selleck) oppose each other’s viewpoints over the public’s treatment of cops after rowdy teens pour water on two rookies. Also, Danny (Mark Wahlberg) and Baez (Marisa Ramirez) investigate a man who preys on the elderly, and Erin is forced to admit her wrongdoings when Jack brings her an old case and claims a man she put away was falsely convicted.”
The description seems to be correct given the show’s official Twitter account shared a teaser of this week’s episode. The tweet reads, “When an old case resurfaces, Erin grapples with the possibility that she delivered a false conviction. If there’s one thing we know, this week’s #BlueBloods will be an emotional one.”
One fan tweeted, “Loved tonight’s episode of @BlueBloods_CBS it was awesome. Loved how #Jamko worked together on a case. Can’t wait for next weeks episode where Jack would make an appearance with Erin. #BlueBloods.”
Another fan tweeted, “Jack is back #thatisall I just wish the producers would get Erin & Jack back together once & for all instead of the games they’ve been playing!! #BlueBloods.”
Fans will have to wait and see how Jack will come into play with Erin’s old case, or if someone more will happen between them.
