‘Blue Bloods’: Jamie Reagan Will Be Under Investigation Again After Being Questioned by IAB

This season of Blue Bloods has shown how Jamie (Will Estes) and Eddie (Vanessa Ray) Reagan are moving forward as a married couple. Sometimes they argue about things at home, and other times they struggle to be on the same side at work.

In the end, Jamie has a lot of responsibility as a sergeant. He was recently questioned by Internal Affairs Bureau (IAB.) Now he will be under investigation again. Find out what is happening in the next episode and more.

Eddie and Jamie were partners on the street for years. He recently was promoted to sergeant so now he has a higher rank.

“Now, he’s a veteran who just made sergeant,” Estes told Newsweek. “I’m stepping into my training sergeant’s shoes, and I’m now in charge of other police officers. I’m one step up the ladder rung and in charge of other police officers and playing a boss.”

He added, “Vanessa and I are discovering how to play people who are in a relationship and not partners because we want to be in a relationship.”

Eddie was moved to his precinct. At times they help each other out, but Jamie is still very much the boss. Sometimes that means he is the one to blame when things go wrong.

Jamie was previously questioned by IAB

The last episode, “Fog of War” showed a cop accidentally shooting and killing another cop while on a raid. They both worked under Jamie so he was questioned by IAB. Jamie chose to have someone else oversee the raid because he was working on a report, and he was told that was the wrong decision.

In the end, Jamie didn’t get in trouble. Frank (Tom Selleck), Henry (Len Cariou), and Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) sat him down for a talk afterward.

“Jamie you know how proud I was when you became a cop,” Frank told him. “But I’m pretty sure I told you once that I had a concern. You’re pretty much a perfectionist, and police work’s messy.”

That means Jamie needs to accept that things will go wrong even if he does the right thing. Now it looks like things will get messy for the sergeant again.

He will be investigated for misused police vests

The next new episode of Blue Bloods will air March 6. It will be called “Vested Interests” and the title has close ties to Jamie’s story, according to TV Insider.

He will be investigated after police vests are found on a perp. Chances are a reason for this will be discovered and Jamie will be off the hook again. But he has been under a microscope lately.

The rest of the family will be busy too. Frank will have to choose whether to help his friend Chuck Kennedy (guest star Ed Asner) whose home has been invaded. Danny and Baez investigate the death of a hotel employee that is suspected to be a suicide. There is also a man that has secrets about the D.A. so Erin and Anthony make a deal.

It’s unknown what department will be investigating Jamie. Hopefully the person responsible for the police vests will be revealed.
