“Blue Bloods” Season 10, Episode 6: One Thing Fans Didn’t Like About This Episode
In “Blue Bloods” season 10, episode six, we see Frank handle a former police officer’s pension gripe, Danny and Baez hunt down a killer, and Jamie help a close friend with a sensitive issue involving his daughter. Here’s one complaint fans had about this “Blue Bloods” episode.
What fans liked about this ‘Blue Bloods’ episode
Although fans had some issues with “Blue Bloods” season 10, episode six, there were some things they liked. Viewers agreed they enjoyed seeing Baez be right and Danny wrong on a case. One fan said Baez is usually standing in Danny’s shadow, so this was a nice change:
Something I liked about this episode was Baez was right and Danny was wrong. Danny is often smug and it seems Baez is treated like his assistant and not his partner. I know his name and image are in the opening sequence and don’t expect Baez to lead the story, but it would be nice if she was more often shown as a partner of equal standing.
One thing ‘Blue Bloods’ fans didn’t like about this episode
Fans agree that “Blue Bloods” is a good show overall, but they don’t seem to like the direction it’s taking. One thing they didn’t like about episode six is that it incorporated themes from past episodes. Fans say the show’s producers seem to be running out of ideas at this point. “Apparently, we are combining stories from shows past now. This show is circling the drain now,” said one fan.
Another fan agreed, saying she didn’t like that the repeating themes seem to paint young girls in a bad light, especially when the girls are in a situation where they feel they have been wronged:
Something that bothered me about this was it’s the second time a girl posted pictures of herself–the first time when Nicki’s friend sent the mass text message. While I do think girls/women will do this to themselves either for revenge or to try to benefit personally from it in some way, I think it sends a bad message that the two times it has been used as a plot, both times it was the teenaged girl doing it to herself. I guess if they visit this again, if the victim is really a victim, it will be a boy.
What happened the week before on ‘Blue Bloods’
In “Blue Bloods” season 10, episode five, Frank tries to help a police officer accused of using excessive force. Danny and Baez hunt down a murderer, Jamie weighs in on a co-worker’s relationship, and Eddie joins a cult. There’s a lot going on in this episode. It was interesting to see Eddie try to fit in with the cult members so she could help move an investigation along. Her undercover work requires her to a wear wig and dress like the other cult members. If you haven’t seen this episode yet, it’s worth taking a look.
