In season 10, episode seven, titled “Higher Standards,” Jamie and Frank are not on the same page. They have opposite points of view when it comes to how the public treats police officers. This clash in opinions comes after a group of teenagers pour water on two rookie cops. Considering Frank is traditional, we’re guessing he doesn’t agree with the public’s response. Jamie, on the other hand, likely sides with the public’s feelings toward some police officers.

Will Eddie side with Jamie on this one or will she give her opinion on the issue? We think Eddie will most likely let Frank and Jamie duke it out during family dinner. It’s sure to be an interesting scene. Hopefully, father and son will be able to maintain their close relationship and not become divided over a difference of opinion.

This isn’t the first time Frank and Jamie have clashed

If you watch “Blue Bloods” regularly, then you know this isn’t the first time Frank and Jamie have been at odds. In season eight, episode 20, titled “Your Six,” Frank wanted Jamie to take the sergeant’s test. He slipped the test into Jamie’s bag while he wasn’t looking, hoping he would apply for the position. However, Jamie gave the test to Eddie. Jamie told Frank that he wanted to make his own decisions instead of following the Reagan footsteps exactly. “We’re a clan made up of individuals. There’s nothing that says we have to march to the same drummer,” said Jamie in a conversation with Frank.

As you might expect, Frank was upset with Jamie because he passed up the opportunity to sit for the sergeant’s test. Frank felt it was time for Jamie to step up and become a boss. During a conversation with his father, Henry, Frank said he wanted Jamie to be in a leadership role, but he wasn’t sure that he thought of himself as a boss. Instead of preparing to take the test, Jamie helped Eddie study for the exam. Frank wasn’t pleased that Jamie didn’t put his hat in the ring for a promotion.

Danny and Baez fight for the city’s elderly

Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Baez (Marisa Ramirez) are faced with a case affecting the city’s most vulnerable citizens. The duo is called on to investigate a man who preys on the elderly. We’re sure this team will hunt him down and resolve the issue before more seniors are preyed upon. It seems like criminals don’t stand a chance against Danny and Baez.

Erin faces a tough situation

Although Erin is good at her job, viewers will see her in a situation where she must admit she made a mistake. This occurs after Jack (Peter Hermann) presents her with an old case and says a man she put in prison was falsely convicted.
