Brandi Glanville from ‘RHOBH’ Asks for Compassion
Cast members from the Real Housewives franchise can experience significant backlash, whether they are part of the current cast roster or not. Brandi Glanville a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum is currently finding that being in the spotlight isn’t always so sweet.
The outspoken actress is active on social media, often tweeting about her former show, but other entertainment tidbits too. She had a great sense of humor about April Fools Day and often posts about her kids and podcast, Brandi Glanville Unfiltered.
However, a recent night out with friends was captured by a photographer. Glanville may have partied a little too hard, but really took it on the chin in the court of public opinion. She took to Twitter to ask the community to give her a break and that she’s only human.
A night that went rogue
A promising night out with pals landed Glanville in a tough spot. She tweeted earlier that night, “All of my friends are in town” along with a nice picture of the women. She also posted the same picture to Instagram along with, “Before shots. :/.”
As the night wore on, Glanville admitted maybe she was a bit overserved. “Having an amazing night with my girls,” she tweeted. “I’m a tiny bit wasted Good f**king night.
Unfortunately, she was more than a tiny bit wasted and cameras captured her being led out of Mr. Chow by friends. Daily Mail included a few images of her looking very unsteady and disheveled. “Friends were in town from Dubai and SD last night I did shots which I don’t do and it got UGLY! Ugh I’m water today all day,” she tweeted.
‘Please stop these negative comments’
For the most part, many people can probably relate to Glanville. They’ve headed out for a fun evening with friends and drank too much. But most people don’t have photographers capturing their every move and uploading images for public scrutiny.
When she realized she was being slammed for being intoxicated, Glanville asked for compassion. She mentioned she had recently switched antidepressants because she was suffering from depression too. Mixing alcohol and antidepressants can enhance alcohol’s impact, according to Mayo Clinic. So if Glanville recently switched medication, she may not have had to drink much to feel intense side effects.
But Glanville wanted to remind people that she is not perfect and makes mistakes. She posted a meme, “I’m not perfect, I’m only human. So if I make mistakes, read the first sentence again.” Some fans were compassionate and caring, but others thought she was making excuses.
Glanville added, “Sorry for my tweet I just realized the only people I owe explanations to are my family. I’m not 25 my body isn’t perfect and I got wasted i’m sure it’s happened to plenty of you however you don’t have people taking your picture and putting on the internet.”
