Will BTS and Lauv Release a ‘Make It Right’ Remix? Here’s What We Know So Far (Update)

We’re well into comeback season, and BTS fans are on edge with anticipation. Rumors about new music have been circulating for a few weeks now. But, nothing has been confirmed by Big Hit Entertainment. Most recently, J-Hope officially released his “Chicken Noodle Soup” collaboration with Becky G. And of course, it was nothing short of perfection. Now, it seems a new collab between BTS and Lauv is coming, and it’s reportedly a remix of “Make It Right,” a B-side track from Map of the Soul: Persona in collaboration with Ed Sheeran. So what’s going on, really? Here’s everything we know thus far.

BTS and Lauv reportedly to release ‘Make It Right’ remix on Oct. 18

According to the Korean publication, OSEN, the “Make It Right” remix by BTS and Lauv is set to be released on Friday, Oct. 18. However, the article didn’t specify any more details in regards to the potential collaboration.

That said, fans might remember when Lauv tweeted at the BTS members — RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook — and asked them to collaborate. “@BTS_twt lets make a song,” the “I Like Me Better” artist wrote on Twitter back in April 2019.

Months later, Lauv and BTS met backstage at the K-pop group’s Love Yourself: Speak Yourself concert at Wembley Stadium in London on June 2. “Thx 4 Comin’ @lauvsongs @hellohonne,” the BTS account captioned a photo from the meetup.

Lauv tweets BTS on Oct. 16 — and the boys respond

On the afternoon of Oct. 16, Lauv fed into the “Make It Right” remix speculations. The music artist shared a photo of with BTS. But, upon further inspection, it appears Lauv edited the photo to match the other members. And all eight men were dressed from head to toe in white outfits even Dionysus would be proud of.

“did I finally #makeitright?” Lauv tweeted. Hilarious.

But then, it happened. BTS responded to Lauv on Twitter. “You always #makeitright,” the BTS account replied. And the plot thickens.
