Caitlyn Jenner Weighs in on Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West’s Marriage Issues: ‘She’s So Strong’
Caitlyn Jenner is weighing in on Kim Kardashian West and her marriage to husband Kanye West — and seems convinced it will all work out for Kardashian West. In fact, Jenner said that Kardashian West is “extraordinarily strong.”
Caitlyn Jenner said she worries least about Kim Kardashian West
During an interview with Access Hollywood, Jenner was asked about the current state of Kardashian West’s marriage to Kanye and whether she’s given her daughter any advice.
“I do talk to Kim… Kim is extraordinarily strong. She’s probably out of all of the girls the one I worry about the least,” Jenner remarked. “I think she’s doing a wonderful job. Is when you have any relationship is and it’s not going quite the way you wanted it to go, is it tough? Yeah.”
She continued, “But she’s so strong and she loves her kids to death, that’s where she’s spending all her time. With her family. And you know, good for her.”
“I don’t, like the old days, talk to her personally about a lot of that stuff, I kind of see it more from the outside. But she knows I’m there for her. And that’s the good part,” Jenner added.
They do keep in touch, however. “We do text back and forth and we talk. She called the other day, actually, when I launched the YouTube channel and said how much she liked it,” Jenner explained.
Who does she worry about the most? “Me,” Jenner said. “Honestly, I don’t worry about any of my kids. That’s a nice thing for a parent to say. They all… every kid has been extraordinarily successful, has had tremendous work ethics, I think every one of them are good people. Good citizens. So I don’t have to worry about them.”
Caitlyn Jenner thinks Kris Jenner would be a good ‘Real Housewives’ cast member
With Keeping Up With the Kardashians set to end in 2021, Jenner was asked what she thought about Kris Jenner as a candidate for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
“Well, put it this way, Kris could handle all of those women and some others, yes. That’s kind of in her element,” Jenner remarked. “I think she would do really well. She would have a lot to say with all these girls… She would be phenomenal on that show.”
There’s a demand for Kris Jenner on ‘Housewives’
Will Real Housewives be the next gig for Kris? Bravo boss Andy Cohen said she’s in demand, for sure.
Cohen explained on his SiriusXM’s Radio Andy, “I got so many DMs and tweets saying Kris should join the Housewives. [Messages say things like] ‘She is good friends with Kyle [Richards]. This should happen, make it happen.’”
He did note that other fans said, “Don’t do it.”
Cohen didn’t think Kris would be on board, however, after coming from a series where she was in control.
“I don’t think she would do it,” he explained. “She is leaving a show for which she has total control over. Why would she leave and join a show that she has no control over?”
“She wouldn’t be an executive producer of the show, she wouldn’t have control over the edits, so I think for someone who is used to having so much power over a show, I can’t see her surrendering that power.”
