Camila Cabello Stole This Surprising Item from Kensington Palace

Camila Cabello is having an epic year. Her world-renowned song “Señorita” has shot to the top of the charts and she’s having a mega-whirlwind romance with her friend turned lover –Shawn Mendes. Over the past several months, she’s been spotted traveling across the globe with Mendes, performing on various stages and prepping for her new album.

However, despite all of this — the songstress has had some time to get herself into a bit of a pickle with some other very famous folks. While she was visiting Kensington Palace on a trip to the U.K. — Cabello took something that didn’t quite belong to her.

You won’t believe with the Fifth Harmony alum took with her a souvenir.

Camila Cabello stole something from Kensington Palace on a dare

During a recent interview with BBC Radio 1 host Greg James — Cabello revealed that when she was visiting Kensington Palace for Radio 1’s Teen Heroes celebration, she was chatting with James when he dared her to steal something from the Palace.

Cabello recalled the dare saying, “And I was like, ‘You triple-doggy dare me?” The singer continued, “And you can’t not do a triple-doggy dare. If there’s anything I’ve learned in my life, it’s that. So I did it.”

Thankfully, we don’t think the item that Cabello stole will be missed by the Cambridges.

Camila Cabello stole a pencil from Kensington Palace

Obviously, Cabello couldn’t exactly shove a massive tapestry or some sort of royal trinket in her purse without alerting the Kensington Palace guards. Instead, James dared her to take something that no one would miss. James recalled, “And I said, ‘Steal that pencil.”

The songstress slyly took the pencil, but that didn’t stop James from sharing what she had done with everyone that he encountered. “And then,” Cabello said, “You, to one of the palace people, called me out on it, and were like, ‘She stole a pencil!’ And I was like, ‘Oh, my God.’ And I put it in my mom’s purse, and my mom was like, ‘No, we have to give it back. We have to give back the pencil.'”

Still despite James’ big mouth — Cabello wasn’t about to back down from the dare.  “No, I have to take the pencil,” the “Havana” singer revealed. “So, I’m sorry. I still have it. I’m sorry, William, and I’m sorry, Kate.”

Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton have responded to Camila Cabello

The royals clearly don’t miss a beat. Despite their busy schedules where the duke and duchess are preparing for the holiday season and the prince’s royal tour to Iran — they still found time to respond to Cabello and her thievery.

They responded to Cabello and James’ antics via their official Kensington Palace Twitter account. They simply placed the massive eyeball emoji under the interview and we cannot stop laughing, It looks like the next time the pair have an event they’re going to tighten security. We highly doubt the singer will try and steal anything in the future — at least not from Kensington Palace.
