Can You Watch ‘The Incredibles 2’ On Disney+?
With all the new streaming services available now, it’s hard to keep track of which one is best, or where to watch your favorites. Most people are on Netflix or Hulu, but now we also have Apple+ and Disney+,
Amazon Prime, HBO Now, Hallmark Movies Now, and many others. It seems that everyone has their own streaming service and it can be hard to keep track of it all.
If you’re a fan of Disney movies, you may be wondering if they’re still available on Netflix, and for how much longer, since Disney+ has launched. Luckily, we’re here to help you sort the whole thing out — including where you can watch The Incredibles 2.

Are Disney movies still on Netflix?
Disney+ launched this month, making tons of Disney and Pixar (which is owned by Disney) favorites available to watch on their network. But you may have noticed that Netflix is still streaming several Disney shows. That’s because Netflix still holds the rights to these specific shows and movies – for now.
When Disney released movies over the last several years, they knew that viewers were on Netflix. So, they sold the rights to these shows to Netflix to stream, but only for a specific amount of time. Disney’s contracts with Netflix usually last 18 months. That means that when the time is up, Disney can take these shows back.
Because Disney+ just launched recently, lots of the streaming rights to their shows are still with Netflix, until the 18 month period expires. At that point, it’s expected that those shows will be taken off Netflix and become available only to Disney+ subscribers.
Of course, now that Disney+ is up and running, when future shows are released, they’ll go straight to Disney+. You probably won’t see many Disney shows on Netflix after the next year and a half.
Where can you watch ‘The Incredibles 2’?
The Incredibles 2 was released to Netflix in January of this year. According to What’s on Disney Plus, it was the last Pixar movie to go to Netflix. Everything released after The Incredibles 2 went straight to Disney+ for streaming.
Since its contract appears to have started with Netflix in January, we can expect it to expire around July 2020. That means after this date, The Incredibles 2 will be available only to Disney+ subscribers.
So, if you’re a Netflix viewer, you still have some time to watch the movie, but you better hurry. It won’t be there forever.
What else is leaving Netflix?
Netflix subscribers might want to go on a Disney/Pixar binge because there are several favorites that won’t be available much longer on the platform.
Coco, the 2017 movie about a young Mexican musician that crosses over to the land of the dead during Dia de los Muertos is currently on Netflix. But it’s leaving November 29, so there isn’t much time left. This is one you’ll need to act fast about.
The science fantasy adventure, A Wrinkle in Time, starring Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, and Mindy Kaling will only be available on Netflix until March 2020.
The Wreck-It Ralph sequel, Ralph Breaks the Internet has been on Netflix since June. That means it will only be available to watch until December 2020.
Another sequel, Mary Poppins Returns arrived on Netflix in July. We actually have quite a bit of time with this one, but don’t put it off too long if you want to watch it. Mary Poppins Returns will probably leave the service around January 2021.
This isn’t a complete list. If you’re a Disney/Pixar fan, make sure you check out your favorites because if you only have Netflix, time to watch is ticking.
