Captain Sandy from ‘Below Deck Med’ Wants to Have This Group of ‘Real Housewives’ for Charter Guests

Bravo fans have begged for a Below Deck crossover for months. When Patricia Altschul suggested she should take the Southern Charm cast on Below Deck Mediterranean, viewers said, “Yes, please!”

While Captain Sandy Yawn is likely to be open to any Bravo crossover, she recently revealed which cast she’d love to have on one of her charters. Her reasoning fits the cast perfectly, setting up a number of scenarios ripe for Bravo.

So who would Yawn love to have as a group of charter guests? And how could that possibly look if the ultimate crossover would occur?

These Real Housewives would be supremely entertaining

Any Real Housewives franchise would make for great television on Below Deck Med. But Yawn said she’d love to have The Real Housewives of New York City on her boat.

She told Decider exactly why she’d be into that crossover. “Here’s why: New Yorkers have an edge,” Yawn explained. “I love to be challenged by clients. When clients are yes-ing you to death, I know that it’s not perfect because that’s impossible. I need the client to tell me the truth. They’ll tell the truth.”

Speaking of telling the truth, Yawn added she was relieved charter guest and friend Dr. Jennifer Berman told her the truth about Chef Mila Kolomeitseva’s food. “When it’s my friends, they’re honest with me and I’m glad,” Yawn said. “But they were more tolerant because I’m their friend, thankfully.”

Choosing rooms is an episode within itself

Any RHONY fan knows room assignments are no joke when the ladies are traveling. Most recently, the women fought fiercely over who would be “stuck” in Dorinda Medley’s infamous “fish room” at Blue Stone Manor. Medley shared that the “fish room” features about $250,000 worth of nautical treasures.

Also, in the past, Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan have shared a room–but the very best room. Chief stew Hannah Ferrier would have her work cut out for her watching the ladies playing room roulette.

But once they’ve exhausted the crew trying to choose rooms, the crew is still going to be working hard. Singer typically insists someone unpacks and puts away her clothing. Deckhand Jack Stirrup seems to be the right man for that job.

The chef would have to be excellent

RHONY ladies are real foodies. They dine in the most fabulous Manhattan restaurants on a regular basis. Plus, Bethenny Frankel knows her way (just a bit) around the kitchen. The Skinnygirl mogul hosted a number of dinners for the cast where she prepared all the food herself.

Also, the preference sheet would need to be followed to the letter. Frankel recently shared the serious nature of her fish allergy. She was severely ill during a girls’ trip last year. However, a recent exposure to fish could have been deadly.

That means the crew would really need to be on high alert. Frankel has shared that even serving fish near her could trigger a serious allergic reaction. So there’s no room for error.
