Cardi B Responds to Offset’s Feud with Chris Brown

It seems like Chris Brown is always in a feud with someone. His latest tiff is with rapper Offset.

Oddly enough, the feud really doesn’t have anything to do with either performer but rather another artist, 21 Savage.

To understand what’s going on between the two we have to take it all the way back to the beginning.

The Start

On Super Bowl Sunday, February 3rd, 21 Savage was arrested by ICE for overstaying his visa. It was then revealed that the rapper was actually a British citizen and had been in the states illegally since 2006.

After news of the arrest went public, some stars, including Offset, took to social media to defend 21 Savage.

“ALL THE MEMES AND SHIT AINT FUNNY WHEN SOMEBODY GOING THROUGH SOME,” hhe tweeted. “PRAYING FOR MY DAWG. AINT SHIT FUNNY HIS FAMILY DEPENDING ON HIM.”

Later, Brown posted a meme making light of the whole situation to which Offset commented, saying that memes aren’t funny.

Brown didn’t take too kindly to being called out by the Migos band member and responded.

He wrote back to Offset, telling him to mind his own business and advised him not to act tough on Instagram. Brown invited the rapper to come fight him in real life.

Brown then posted the conversation on his Instagram story with a caption comparing Offset to the early 2000s movie character Pootie Tang.

Finally Offset took to his Instagram story to post about Brown.

“I aint really have too much rap for you on this social media shit but since that’s where you wanna take it tell the people why you had your management reach out to squash the shit,” he wrote. “Check my record and check yours only people you go to toe to toe with is women that’s for lame n****s. Oh and btw Ima smack the shit out you when I see you!”

Apparently, the two then took their argument to their dms because Brown later posted an image of their dm conversation.

The conversation opened with Offset asking Brown where he was, to which Brown responded saying that he was in LA and would be home at 4 pm. He told Offset to meet him at his house.

Offset responded asking for Brown’s address and instead of giving it to him, Brown told Offset to google it.

For some reason, Offset responded to that message saying “police,” likely implying that Brown was trying to set him up.

Later that week, Brown posted a number of memes making fun of Offset to Instagram.

He eventually brought Offset’s wife,Cardi B, into the conversation, saying “Ima bring ya girl flowers so she know I respect her.”

Cardi B was not so amused.

Cardi B’s Reaction

A source close to the Grammy winner told Hollywood Life that Cardi was not happy with being brought into this whole mess at all.

“Cardi B found Chris Brown’s Instagram post where he says he’s going to send her flowers so she knows he respects her, quite disrespectful,” the source told the outlet. “Cardi of course sides with Offset, however, she knows Offset has been working really hard to get to a better place with her and on their relationship as a whole and finds it really rude of Chris to post such a thing.”
